Today I'm going to tell you about two CD receivers from Kenwood, the KDC-MP345U and the KDC-MP445U. They're very similar stereos.
In the KDC-MP345U, Kenwood delivers a smart CD receiver. It's designed for the person who wants a stereo with useful features that's easy to use and competitively priced. Front mounted auxiliary and USB inputs make it easy to listen to your external devices.
One of the big reasons people buy a new car stereo these days is iPod control, and the 'MP345U is ready for you. Controlling your iPod is easy. Just plug your iPod cable into the USB input — you don't need a special adapter, and it will charge your iPod while it's connected. Once plugged in, you can use the stereo controls to scroll through your playlists and your music, or use the alphabet search and go right to the song or the artist you're looking for.
No matter what kind of music you listen to it's gonna sound great. Kenwood gives you six preset EQ curves or create your own curve with the 3-band equalizer.
Now for the other model, the KDC-MP445U. It has the same features of the '345 but it's also expandable so you can add a Kenwood optional Bluetooth module for hands-free calling or a tuner for HD Radio or satellite radio.
