Crutchfield always kills it with fair deals, insanely fast shipping, and outstanding customer service! I paired this kit with a Kenwood single receiver for my 2003 Lexus IS300 and it works fine. The dash kit is relatively cheap in terms of product quality, but it does the job.

Never ended up installing this but upon receiving there was a piece of deformed plastic right at the corner of the double DIN opening. Also, the finish does not match the finish of the surrounding dash. I test fitted the head unit and fitment seems fine though. This could have been resolved but didn't have the time to deal with it plus with Crutchfield's discounts it was cheap enough to not care so much. Ended up using a Scosche kit which was way better.

Good quality plastic dash kit. The fit along the edges is amazing! Not quite OEM finish, but still looks good around a double DIN headunit. Seems to be sturdier than the metra or scosche dash kits.

Good bang for buck

Plastic was not brittle like you would expect and has some flexibility for squeezing in radio units. Directions were lacking, but otherwise a good product. It held in my double din touch screen Sony unit and the stock climate control in my 04 IS300 with no issues. Would recommend to others and buy again if needed.

I installed a Jensen VX3016 in a 2003 Lexus IS 300 and since this is a double DIN stereo, it needed a new mount. This kit was recommended by Crutchfield. At first I thought it would be flimsy compared to the steel mount of the factory radio, but I was proven wrong. One the stereo was installed everything fit snugly and the installation was a very easy process. The Jensen unit looks like it came from the factory. I am very pleased with the product. If you go with Crutchfield's recommendations, everything goes well. At least that has been my experience for 38 years of buying car audio products from them.

Perfect Fit and Finish in Your Dash!

What a perfect way to integrate your replacement head unit or receiver into your dash! This kit fit so well when installed in my 2004 Lexus IS300, it looks like OEM equipment! Instructions were clear, and it took no time at all for me to mount the pocket and the Clarion receiver into the panel. Installation into the dash was equally easy. I couldn't be more pleased!

Overall good product, but not 5 stars. I used this in my 2002 is300 with a sony XAV-V630 Double Din and it required quite a bit of modification to fit the head unit in flush with the trim. For all double dins, the kit requires cutting of the single din front support and the two rear tabs. This is easy enough and I used a small fine toothed hacksaw to complete this. For the Sony unit however, the bottom support for the double din sized unit would not allow the head unit to slide in far enough. I cut off the bottom support completely and then I was able to get the unit in where I wanted it, but the final trim piece again did not fit the sony properly, and the bottom stuck waaaayy out. I used a drill and the hacksaw and made the bottom of the final trim piece about 3mm thick, removing about 7mm of thickness, and got everything to fit flush. The plastic is decent quality and the thin trim piece withstood the abuse of my cutting and flexing during the modifying process. The finish looks good in the car, not a perfect match, but Im pretty picky and still pleased with the end result. Definitely don't be afraid to modify your unit. The bottom support can be removed and the lower trim (with Trac off, snow, and heated seat buttons) still snaps into other locations and fits snug without it. Good luck!

Single din radio

Easy to do really ,worked and looks good, could use another trim plate for removable faces had to trim ,bottom buttons kept catching when you open to remove, and not exactly color match ,but looks good enough you really do not notice unless starring at it

OK with a little modification

Product looks good, but did require some modification to fit a double-DIN head unit. Item comes spec'd to a single DIN application. If you are going to use for double-DIN, you will need to have a coping saw or some other hand cutting tool to remove some material. Fortunately, I did have a saw handy, and was able to cut away as needed. I also couldn't use the supplied face plate with my head unit, but that's fine.

The dash kit fits very well. My complaints are that it is a universal kit which can be used for a single din radio as well. You need to cut the middle part out and sand to make it look right and fit well. It is also slightly off color to the rest of my interior.

The IS300 dash kit was easy to use and fits well as long as you use the supplied plastic mounting brackets. I tried to use the original metal brackets, but when I tried the plastic ones everything fit properly. The kit looks good and the color is a pretty good match. It isn't spot on 100% perfectly color matched, but in a 9 year old car it looks pretty decent and the interior of my car is dark enough that it is really hard to tell without really looking for it. There weren't any gaps and the fit was good and the instructions were good and it was simple to install and put together.

The kit came with everything i needed. My only complain is that the side piece for the pocket didnt screw perfectly in the back so it made the pocket come out abit. No one can tell cept for me though. overal it works
