Cons: The tabs you break off in the instructions are too close to the holes you snap the side panels to, also I recommend a photo you can 360" view - Other than that, great buy.

Serves its purpose. Had to cut off tabs to make it fit 2004 Suzuki XL-7 (not part of instructions). Holes did not perfectly line up. Had to apply some persuasion to get holes to line up well enough to reinstall dash cover.
Pros: Effectively makes use of 2 din space for single din head unit
Cons: Fit was not perfect right out of the box. Had to modify slightly.

Fits my Suzuki XL-7 Ok. Does not fit all decks as others have said. A deck with a removable bezel (which I don't have) will fit. Decks with wider faceplates will not fit. I'm not good at cutting up plastic (which is what you would have to do to make some decks fit) which means I will have to get another deck. Not happy.

Perfect fit! I was a little hesitant about having to break off a couple tabs that don't specifically fit my vehicle, but it was in the instructions!

It's alright but for flip out monitors it's not so great because it cause a delay in the screen and doesn't let it open all the way

2003 Suzuki Grand Vitara
The kit looks nice and fits perfectly. The issues I've had may be mostly due to the car, and not the kit, however the instructions need improvement. The Suzuki Grand Vitara (03-05) has an exceptionally difficult dash component to remove. The instructions that came with this kit and the instructions that came with the other components (the receiver, the wire harness...) were all a bit different, and none of them communicated just how finicky the dash component is, nor the best way to remove it. Long and short, I ended up cracking the superficial plastic of the dash, which was VERY easy to do. The car is a bit of a beater, so I'm not terribly disappointed, but I may end up spending some money to replace the center dash.
Pros: Fits, looks good.
Cons: Instructions are poor.

Works ok but for me there were a couple of pieces that snap together which came apart..I'll end up bolting those pieces together. No biggie just a minor inconvenience. Very clean looking and easy to install.

In-dash Receiver Kit - Almost Perfect

The Kit was complete and arrived ahead of schedule. The Kit was almost perfect fit except for a slight warp at the top center of the upper compartment causing a very minor, less than perfect fit. My only other problem is that with the AERIO SX and the KVT-516 Head unit is that when the touch screen/ DVD screen for the KVT-516 is out the upper compartment is inaccessible. Would have been nice if the compartment could of been mounted either at Top or Bottom.
Pros: Not difficult to install. Easy instructions to follow.
Cons: 1. Less than perfect fit, but only slightly. 2. Have to cut away unused mounting tabs. 3. Inaccessible upper compartment with DVD Display screen opened.

I purchased a new Kenwood KDC-352U for my wifes 2003 Suzuki XL-7 SUV. The OEM stereo stopped playing CD's, and it was time to upgrade to features such as USB input, Pandora, HD Radio etc... I ordered the install kit based on what I read about it and the overall look of the unit, my wife really likes the extra storage pocket on top. I got the kit and the wiring harness ROCKET FAST...but what really impressed me was the included instructions (including pictures) for her specific vehicle... WOW!!! My Crutchfield team really hit it "out of the park" on this one. It was VERY easy to install with the Kenwood deck... and fit and looks GREAT!!! This is an ISO install kit, so you won't be using the mounting can or trim ring. I do believe this kit works best with one button removeable faces instead of the flip/fold down styles. Overall I am "completely satified" with my purchase and plan to buy all our goodies from Bill and his crew. Thanks again....

After some field modifications the deck fit into the kit. I would recommend but be aware that you may need to make minor modifications depending on which deck you purchase.
Pros: Kit fit in the space that the stock radio left.
Cons: Some plastic modification needed to be made to fit the deck purchased.

This kit came with my order and I thought it made things easy as far as installation, and fit pretty well in my wife's 03' XL-7. Just watch which receiver you order. I ordered the Sony with the fold down face, and prior to installing it, I put the radio in and found that the face would not fold down properly without hitting the bottom of the dash kit. It seemed that it would open far enough just to put in a CD, but it would be a pain. I returned it and ordered another receiver with the open slot for the CD and it works fine.

Perfect fit for 2005 Suzuki XL-7, instructions for removal and installation where not as detail. Just go slow and remember where u remove each screw from the instrument panel. Had to removed only 6 screws, 2 on the fron panel and 4 behind the panel. Make sure they are installed on the specific positions or the panel will not go back correctly. The fit is perfect and looks factory, Great product.
