Overview: The Dyson Pure Cool Link Tower is an innovative air purifier and fan. The
Wi-Fi enabled unit can be controlled with the
supplied wireless remote control, or with your smartphone through the Dyson Link
app. You can also use voice commands through Amazon Echo (Alexa) to control its
functions. The Pure Cool Link Tower has no blades, so it's safe and easy to clean.
Air Purifier: The air inside the home can sometimes be up to 5 times more
polluted than the air outside. The Pure Cool Link Tower has a 360° Glass HEPA filter that automatically removes 99.97% of the allergens and pollutants as
small as 0.3 microns from the air. The filter is made of 20 feet of H-13 HEPA
borosilicate microfiber, pleated 333 times. Also, a dense layer of activated
charcoal granules captures odors and VOCs (volatile organic compounds) like
paint fumes. The top and bottom of the filter is sealed with rubber to form a
vacuum, keeping the trapped particles inside the machine. The replaceable filter
is non-washable. The unit is programmed to remind you to change the filter every
12 months, based on 12 hours of usage a day. The notification may come sooner or
later, based on actual usage. The Pure Cool Link Tower is certified as "asthma &
allergy friendly" by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.
Air Multiplier Technology: The Pure Cool Link Tower has an
energy-efficient, brushless DC motor in its base. Its 360° air intake draws air
from all directions, allowing you to position the machine anywhere. Using
technologies found in turbochargers and jet engines, the Pure Cool Link Tower
generates powerful airflow. Air is cleared through a 2.5mm aperture and over an
airfoil-shaped ramp. It is redirected by a focus ramp, which projects a powerful
stream of air toward the user. The Pure Cool Link Tower's air multiplier unit is
27" tall and 5" wide (inside dimensions). The unit offers ten different speeds (1-10), and
Auto Mode: The unit features onboard sensors that will
intelligently adjust the speed of the airflow according to the air quality in
the room. As the air quality improves the air speed will decrease, and the unit
will turn itself off if the air quality target has been met.
Sleep Timer: The Pure Cool Link Tower has a Sleep Timer that
will automatically to turn the unit off after a set period of time. You can set
the timer between 15 minutes and 9 hours using the Dyson Link app or the remote
Night Mode: When Night Mode is enabled, the display will dim
(and fade out within 5 seconds), and the airflow speed will reduce to Level 4.
If the speed is already below level 4, it will remain the same.
Remote Control: The included remote control gives you
control over the Pure Cool Link Tower's functions. Controls include: Standby
On/Off, Airflow Control, Auto Mode,
Oscillation On/Off, Sleep Timer, and Night Mode.
When not in use, the remote can be docked magnetically to the top of the unit.
The remote is powered by a single CR2032 Lithium cell battery. Dimensions: Width
1.276", Length 3.55", Depth 0.416"
Dyson Link App: The Wi-Fi enabled Pure Cool Link Tower can be
controlled and monitored by the Dyson Link app from your smartphone or tablet.
The app allows you to live monitor the air quality inside your home, and view
daily air quality history to discover how and when your machine is purifying. It
also includes a remote control for setting the airflow
speed, sleep timer, oscillation, and Night Mode.
Should a problem arise, you can quickly access troubleshooting guides. The app
can also control other Dyson connected machines, such as the Pure Hot + Cool
Pure Cool Link desktop purifiers and the 360 Eye robot vacuum. The Dyson Link app
is compatible with iOS devices running iOS 8.0 or later, and Android smartphones
and tablets with Android 4.0 and up.
Control By Alexa: You can use Amazon Echo's Alexa voice
assistant to control the Pure Cool Link Tower with your voice. By speaking "Alexa,
ask Dyson..." you can do the following: Turn on, Turn on night mode, Turn off
auto mode, Increase the speed, and Set the speed (numerically). You can also use
Alexa to monitor its speed, indoor air quality, temperature, and indoor
humidity, and amount of filter life remaining.
