I ordered this exactly 1 year ago (7/3/21) and it quit working on 7/3/22. I'll give it 2 stars because when it did work it sounded really nice. It just won't hold a charge after a year. I guess it's like most products it's made cheaply and will last just out of reach of the warranty.

Service from Crutchfield was, as always, unparalleled. Ordered it after noon and received it the next day. Now, as to the unit, I found it easy to set up and to charge, and though it comes with a cord, it doesn't come with a charger.It's size makes it pretty easy to carry it around. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I'm a bit disappointed with the sound, but for the sale price it will do. If I had paid the regular price I might have returned it.

Cons: Sound quality is just okay, at best. No charger.

Horrible product. Stopped charging after a month. It's a known problem. There are workarounds, unfortunately none work for me. Google the issue before you think about purchasing this product - it will save you time and money in the future.

Excellent sound in a small package. Bought this to use it on trips and around the house. Will use with Bluetooth from my cellphone and from a Galaxy tablet and also via the jack using a Sansa Clip. Did connect it to our PC via Bluetooth but every time we booted the PC it automatically turned on the speaker which was just wasting battery life so I removed it from the PC's Bluetooth list. I did manage to buy this during Cyber Monday, probably would have considered other brands before paying the full price for this. I find it humorous that European companies (Bose in this case) like to act so environmentally conscious and yet this comes with a battery that cannot be replaced. Sadly that's standard these days, so many devices are limited in lifetime by the cycles on their batteries. Once the battery loses capacity the entire device becomes garbage and someone needs to dig out the battery to recycle it.

This is a Bluetooth speaker with built in microphone. As such, it has become my go-to audio for my work laptop. The sound is much better than adequate - clear voices, nice bass, and a subtle warmth. Callers tell me the microphone works well. It's perfect for long conference calls. I stream music with it between meetings. Two devices can connect simultaneously -I have the work laptop connected for meetings, and my cell phone for streaming sources unavailable on my work laptop. It also takes aux input, so I can listen to my ancient iPod .

Sounds and works well. Easy to pair with my Apple devices. Only qualm appears to be Bose quality assurance. Returned first speaker because top volume up button appeared to be broken, not clicking like the rest. Plus top panel was lumpy and looks like it was dropped. Crutchfield was on it and sent me a new speaker ASAP, thank you. Same story with the new one though, not isolated. No more back and forth for me, keeping this one, as the speaker works and I can control volume from my device.

At first thought, a little expensive, but I needed something easy to hook up by bluetooth or cable. Setup a breeze. Good sound - I use mainly for auxilary speaker for phone or laptop for internet conferences as many participants do not speak up or have their microhones poorly set up. Looks like keeps charge fairly well, but I use it infrequently.

This portable speaker is great! It does a really nice job filling the room with sound and hits most notes. Some notes on the other hand are non-existent. Particularly deep bass notes but considering the size of this, that should be expected. Bluetooth connection is immediate without unnecessary start up sounds like other speakers have. Battery life has been as advertised when used at medium volume listening to podcasts and some music. Well worth it in this price range.

My son recieved the soundlink color for his 13th birthday. I already owned the soundlink micro. I purchased another in white for my mom for xmas. We love both and recommend them to our friends and family. The sound quality is awesome and battery life is more then adequate. I just discovered party mode and it's nice to have one in the kitchen and one in the living area or back porch playing the same tunes. Great products and excellent service. Iam a Crutchfield customer since the early 90s and always will be. Thank you.

This is a grand upgrade to the original Soundlink Color. Just the right sound with speech off the TV thru the AUX input. My music out of my phone by Bluetooth sounds incredible for such a small speaker, however, nothing like the sound of my Bose Mini II. For the price, it is just the right speaker size to carry around on trips I am very satisfied with the ease of connecting from my iphone with all my music, classical thru latin. One favorite spot of it is while listening to music while out in the backyard. Great sounding gear for the price. ...and I understand that it can be used with a second speaker for stereo.

Compared to Original Soundlink

I own several Bose products and purchased this as a Father's Day gift for my Father in Law. First, it's well built and the Bluetooth pairing is very easy and much easier than the original Soundlink. The rubberized coating will protect it well and the weight makes it easy to tag along. The mids and highs are very clear and it's surprisingly loud so I give it a good rating on overall sound. The bass is a little bit light for my taste and is definitely not as good as the original Soundlink in comparison. For the price and size it's a great product but don't purchase this as an upgrade to the original Soundlink.
Pros: Great Mid and High Good Bass but not as good as the original Sound Link Bluetooth connection is very easy and is much better than the older model

I can't believe the sound that comes out of this speaker. I come from a time when you needed a set of speakers as big as refrigerators to get good bass response. I'm not sure how they get that response in a unit that can't be moving much air but it works.

Heard my friends speaker and had to have it! Super easy to set up, plays great for personal listening. Crutchfield delivered fast, nicely protected. Keeps me happy listening to my music living in Puerto Rico with no power( running on generator for almost 4 months)due to hurricane maria! Thanks Crutchfield for not forgetting about us down here.

At this size and price point it's hard to beat the Bose SoundLink Color II. It has a big deep sound with easy to use features. The iOS app is a nice bonus. Great for indoor or outdoor listening.

Nice BT speaker, perfect for little outings and pool/spa outings. Sounds amazing for such a small sized unit.
Pros: Affordable Compact Sounds great
Cons: Volume is a little wonky. Normally the device playing music controls the speaker volume, but not on this one. Found that turning the volume all the way up on this speaker then controlling volume from the playback device works best.

Great product. Puts out fantastic sound quality. We have used on the beach and at the pool side. it has been wet (accidentally) and it lives up to its waterproof claim. I would recommend this to anyone in the market. If you take it to the beach, I encourage you to cover the ports with scotch tape. Keeps sand out of port.

I recently bought two of these terrific speakers--one for my wife and one for me, and we are both extremely satisfied with them. They were very easy to pair with our iPhones and iPads, and they have the great sound quality we both expect from Bose. They are simple to move around and feel very comfortable and secure with their silicon-covered exteriors. We love them and have already recommended them to a number of friends.

It is not a surround sound home theater system. It is a small, portable speaker. And it works great! The sound is crisp and clear, decent bass (great for such a little thing), easy to use and very portable, holds charge for plenty of time. I like it. Can't imagine why someone wouldn't.

I have long been a Bose speaker fan, but I never knew that they made wireless portable speakers. This Bose Soundlink Bluetooth II speaker is absolutely awesome. I read about this product while browsing Crutchfields online catalog. I was looking for a wireless speaker to use with my Apple tablet and phone. The Bose Bluetooth portable speaker was a Memorial Day weekend special. Knowing that Crutchfield stands behind the products they sell, to include lifetime support, I purchased the Bose Soundlink Bluetooth Speaker. This little speaker easily fills our living room full of beautiful sounds. It is easy to pair with a tablet or phone. We use it outside on our deck or anywhere we want music. Now I am looking to purchase a couple of Bose wireless speakers to use with our flat panel tv in the bedroom. I would not hesitate to recommend these speakers to all our family and friends. Try one, they sell themselves. The Bose Bluetooth Wireless speaker is also perfect to take on vacation or outings. Just because you are away from home doesn't mean you have to do without world class sound!

The sound of this unit is inferior compared with his brother that is not water resistant, the high notes are not that good I will return it, is not what I was expecting from BOSE THE JBL Flip3 is cheaper and have twice better sound

Fantastic sounds from such a small speaker! Easy to setup and pairing with all my devices was a breeze. I wanted something portable for my home and this fits the bill perfectly. Crystal clear sound. Could not be more pleased. Would not hesitate to buy or recommend!!
