Multiple remotes in the boat - like a boss!

This is the second Clarion setup I've had in my boat. HU in the glovebox, one remote at the helm, another remote near the transom. Fully control from anywhere in the boat basically. Clarion gear holds up to the elements well and looks great. Easy wiring with this cable.

Pros: Easy to add multiple remotes - plug and play.

Cons: None

Works as advertised. Allowed me to control my Clarion radio with a wired remote at an upper station and with a wireless remote that I keep with my power pole remote on a lanyard. Can now control the radio from anywhere.

Clarion has got it figured out I have 2 perfect remotes that will not work unless you buy new cables and new remotes if you change your head unit out STOP CHANGING STUFF THAT WORKS!!!! Bottom line if you are gonna change any thing in an older system expect to replace it ALL 1000.00 minium or in my case 1800.00$ and thats no speakers or subs #love boats #love clarion #STOP REINVENTING THE WHEEL [ Phil  Apr 14, 2017 ]

Q
Can these be daisy chained to support 4 remotes?

A
I would think so. I used mine to wire in the clarion WiFi module so I can use the clarion app from my iPhone in my boat on the lake. I would think you you could just keep plugging in and splitting off to another remote until they are all wired in. My boat has a transom remote and the WiFi module plugged in coming off the main clarion unit box.
[ EVAN G  Aug 17, 2018 ]
A
No idea. I returned the clarion for the Rockford fosgate because the remotes were too large for what I needed. That said, the description often times tells you if you can (at least the Rockford did)

[ Lynnhaven Marin  Aug 17, 2015 ]
