Good mount but you need 90 degree HDMI adapters

The mount is solid but usually cable management design is something you think about when designing a mount. Nope, not here. And documentation isn't the best. So here's the deal for the YSP-2700, it's a good wall mount BUT you must buy 90 degree HDMI connectors (not 270 degree, won't fit). Don't even think about a normal HDMI cable plugged in straight with this mount. Cables will hang straight down and will miss the mount (another nit that wasn't clear until you actually put it all together).

Pros: Solid mount Orients speakers properly

Cons: Pricey Must buy adapters or HDMI cable won't fit No real cable management, they just hang there.

Yamaha bracket sound bar

Gregory from Texas on 6/7/2016

Great item. Holds perfectly in place. It is a little close to wall but the optical cable works fine and the make hdmi cable with 90 degree angle. This item holds my sound bar perfectly in place looks very upscale .

Pros: Upscale look

Cons: A little close wall but works

Hmm...Not well suited for HDMI cords.

Mounting the bracket was made quite easy given the template. However, you have extremely limited access to the rear of the speaker. So much so, standard HDMI cords won't fit btwn the speaker and wall once mounted. Terrible engineering and disclosure.

Pros: Holds the speaker up. Relatively easy to mount.

Cons: No room for the most basic cabling.

Yamaha SPMK20 Wall Mount Bracket needs to be redesigned.

Daniel R. from California on 3/29/2015

This bracket is not really designed for the YSP-2500 sound bar and that is very unfortunate. The bar itself is too big and the templates and instructions provided were not suitable for the YSP-2500 despite the fact that this is what Yamaha is recommending. I finally figured out how to use some spacers provided but the result is far from ideal. Highly recommend not trying to use this bracket for a wall mount if you have an alternative. If you have to use it, know that it is too high and you need spacers underneath to raise the YSP-2500 to the right level not to see the whole top of the bracket exposed! I ended up using cardboard pads from the box wrapped in electrical tape to accomplish the final look but this is totally ridiculous for both Yamaha and Crutchfield.

Expensive and does not include all hardware

DaveD from Connecticut on 3/15/2015

Discreet design allows for a clean and beautiful installation. My YSP-2500 looks like it's floating on the wall as the bracket blends beautifully and is virtually invisible. But Yamaha should have included all necessary mounting hardware considering the price of this bracket.

Pros: Clean, simple design that's virtually "invisible"; strong construction and holds sound bar well.

Cons: Yamaha only includes the screws to attach the sound bar to the bracket. Yamaha does NOT include the screws/hardware (e.g., wall anchors) to attach the bracket to the wall. For the price that Yamaha charges for this bracket, which is essentially just simple sheet metal, all mounting hardware should have been included. This is the reason I gave it only two stars -- it seems Yamaha is gouging its customers because it can...
