    Customer Q&A

    3 questions already asked

Does the USB accept playback from Android phones? And can I control the music from the phone, or do I have to use the buttons on the head unit?
    [ Matt  Dec 02, 2015 ]
    4 answers
I use it with my iPhone all the time (as well as generic flash drive). Once I plug them in, however, I have to control them from the stereo. Not sure about Android, but assume that anything usb should work fine.
    [ Chris  Dec 05, 2015 ]
Sorry, I don't know. Have not used that feature.
    [ Lin  Dec 05, 2015 ]
sorry, I have not used that feature. Just radio and CD play
    [ JOESEPH  Dec 04, 2015 ]
All I ever plugged into it was an old iPod. It only let me change the songs with the head unit. But it could be different for a phone.
    [ NICK  Dec 04, 2015 ]
How does the volume control work? Is it an actual rotating knob?
    [ Jonno  Nov 14, 2015 ]

yes, it's a good ol' fashioned knob.
    [ Chris  Dec 05, 2015 ]
Yup. It's a nob that turns ton increase volume.
    [ Christopher  Nov 21, 2015 ]
Yes, it is an actual rotating knob. The operation is digital though, not analog.
    [ DONALD  Nov 15, 2015 ]
    [ HUGH R.  Nov 15, 2015 ]
Yes- it is a rotating knob
    [ David  Nov 15, 2015 ]
    [ DONALD G  Nov 15, 2015 ]
    It is a simple knob.
    [ BARRY  Nov 15, 2015 ]
Yes, the knob rotates a full 360 degrees.
    [ Jason  Nov 15, 2015 ]
Yes rotates like typical volume control
    [ richard  Nov 15, 2015 ]
I just bought the same unit primarily for it's clean design. My only issue is that with an iPhone 5 the song titles on the display don't update. Display is stuck on the first title played. With an iPhone 4s this issue does not exist. Do you have a chance to test your unit with an iPhone 5? I was hoping this can be fixed with a software update, but I'm not seeing any on Blaupunkt's website. Thanks

I use an iPhone 5 & have never had this problem. Maybe an Apple update could fix this?
    [ Chris  Dec 05, 2015 ]
Unfortunately, I have yet to even install my unit. I was planning on doing so this week however. I do have the iPhone 4S, but I have friends who have the 5 and 5s so I'm sure I will have a chance to mess around with both.
    [ Cole  Jan 27, 2014 ]
I have not used this with the Iphone 5
    [ richard  Jan 27, 2014 ]
Martin S, Wish I could help you but I do not have an iPhone 5. Sorry. Try the Menu button and scroll through to Source and check any options. Best of luck.
