About the Blaupunkt THA2125
Blaupunkt's Thin Series amplifiers pack solid power into a slender frame, and like elite athletes, they tackle the most demanding tasks with energy and grace. These amps are only 1-11/16" in height, for real mounting flexibility.
The THA2125 has the power and flexibility to take on multiple roles in your system. Run a pair of high-end component speakers in 2-channel mode, or bridge the output to send 350 watts downstream to a single 4-ohm sub plenty of juice to get the bump going. And the amp's tried-and-test design is solid and reliable.
You can use the low- and high-pass filters to adjust amp output to get the most out of your speaker system. A variable bass boost lets you dial up the right amount of "fat" in your sound.

Features
Thin Series: Blaupunkt Thin Series amplifiers feature a low-profile design and are engineered for multiple amp installations. The amplifier features removable endcaps to protect all connections of the amp and allows for end-to-end mounting of other Thin Series Blaupunkt amplifiers in your car audio system.
2-Channel Amplifier: The Blaupunkt THA2125 is a 2-channel amplifier rated at 125 watts per channel in 4ohm and 200 watts per channel in 2ohm. The THA2125 amplifier can also be bridged in a mono configuration. This enables you to use the amplifier for one or more subwoofers. The amplifier is rated at 350 watts x 1 channel at 4ohm in bridged mode.
AB Design: The THA2125 amplifier is a Class AB design with reinforced output stages to ensure solid performance and reliability. The amplifier's big heat sinks ensure adequate heat dissipation regardless of the load.
Gain Control: The gain control enables the input sensitivity of the final stage to be matched to the output voltage of your car radio's preamp output. The range of adjustment extends from 0.3 volt to 6.0 volt.
Remote Gain Knob: The amplifier comes supplied with a wired remote gain knob so you can control the amplifier's gain setting from the front of your vehicle. The wired remote gain knob comes with a 16.5' cord to connect the remote gain control to the amplifier. The remote gain control features integrated mounting flanges to mount the knob to a flat surface under your dash. The remote gain control knob measures 2.529" wide x 1.945" deep x 0.729" tall.
Crossover Selector: You can choose between three crossover settings.
- Flat: for use with full-range speakers
- High-Pass: for use with smaller speakers that cannot handle low frequencies
- Low-Pass: for use with subwoofers
High-Pass Crossover: You can adjust the high-pass frequency crossover between 50 Hz and 250 Hz.
Low-Pass Crossover: You can adjust the low-pass frequency crossover between 50 Hz and 250 Hz.
Bass Boost: You can adjust the bass output of the amplifier using the bass boost control. The settings range from 0 dB to +12 dB at a fixed 45Hz frequency.
ThermalThrottle: ThermalThrottle technology automatically modulates the gain as the amplifier approaches critical temperature levels during prolonged peak performance. The circuit then increases gain again automatically providing continual high sound pressure levels while avoiding intermittent thermal shut-down. The result is undistorted, maximum volume levels, automatically.
LED Indicators: The Amplifier is equipped with a Power, Protect, and Clip LED.
- Power LED: This light will illuminate when the Amp is on and operating at normal conditions.
- Protect LED: This light will illuminate when the Amp senses a sever problem such as a speaker short circuit.
- Clip LED: This light will illuminate if the amplifier begins to clip and distort.
Inputs and Outputs Notes
Power/Ground Terminals: The power and ground gold-plated screw terminals are 0.5625" wide to accommodate up to a 4-gauge wire.
Remote (Turn-On Lead)/Speaker Terminals: The remote turn-on lead and speaker gold-plated screw terminals are 0.375" wide to accommodate up to an 8-guage wire.
Fuse: The amplifier is equipped with two 30A fuses.
Line-In: The amplifier features a left and right RCA gold-plated connection for its line-level input.
Aux Out: The amplifier features a left and right RCA gold-plated connection for its line-level output so you can connect another amplifier to your audio system without running RCA cables all the way back to your headunit.
Remote: This connection is used to connect the supplied wired remote bass knob.
