Pretty good overall. Sound is very good. Remote is illegible in dim light. At this price, should have balanced outputs and accessible DAC.

Wow! what a Beast!

I bought this Denon DCD-A110 CD player to upgrade from a Yamaha CD-S300 that I have had for years. No complaints on the Yamaha it does the job but, I wanted something better something high end being this will be the last CD player I will buy again I hope. The Denon came from the factory in 2 boxes I like that being an expensive unit for extra protection. The photos of the unit do not do it any justice the unit is a Beast! and it looks sleek and beautiful! I was like WOW!. The Denon is hooked up to my Yamaha RX-A880 AV Receiver with Klipsch and Harman/Kardon speakers. This is the first Denon product I own and I do not have any SACDS only regular CDS, The first CD I played was the soundtrack to the movie BREAKIN being old school the sound was just fantastic ! I felt like I was in a club! my wife started complaining. The 2nd CD I played was The Rolling Stones Tattoo you! Start Me Up! and Hang Fire! sound wonderful! the detail and the soundstage from this unit is simply amazing! I am amazed on how wonderful this unit sounds! if your an Audiophile like myself you will enjoy this CD player! I got this for my Birthday !
