About the Denon CEOL RCD-N10

Plenty of ways to listen to your tunes
Plenty of ways to listen to your tunes
The versatile, compact Denon CEOL RCD-N10 offers many ways to access your favorite music. You can go old-school with the FM tuner or the built-in CD player. Or you can connect to your home network via Wi-Fi® or the Ethernet port on the back of the unit and stream music from Spotify®, Deezer, TIDAL, or TuneIn internet radio. There's also Apple AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth for wireless streaming.
It's also compatible with the Amazon Echo Plus or Echo Dot, and the Google Home, so you can just speak up and ask the RCD-N10 to play a specific tune, playlist, or station. And it will show up in your player list if you're using Roon (subscription required).
Connect your components — including your TV
The Denon CEOL RCD-N10 has an array of inputs for connecting A/V components. There's an RCA input for analog sources, and two Toslink digital optical inputs. One optical input is marked "TV," because the RCD-N10 offers a handy way to boost and expand the sound coming from your TV — to add a little "oomph" to movies and TV show binge-watching. It can even learn your TV remote commands.
On the back, you'll also find binding posts for connecting a pair of bookshelf speakers, and an output for a powered subwoofer (speakers and subwoofer not included).
Set up a wireless whole-home audio system with HEOS
With built-in HEOS technology, the CEOL RCD-N10 can be easily integrated into a wireless multi-room audio system. Stream music to HEOS wireless speakers and components in different rooms, and control each room's speakers independently with the free mobile HEOS app. The app lets you control playback, browse music sources, and select which rooms you want to use. Play the same music throughout your home, or listen to something different in each room.

Full digital processing is used to perform all processes in the digital domain during playback of wired and wireless digital sources, eliminating external noise.
Tone Control: The Denon RCD-N10 network CD receiver provides Bass (100Hz) & Treble (10kHz) control with an adjustment range of -10dB to +10dB). It also offer Left & Right Balance control. In addition, there is a SDB (Super Dynamic Bass) feature that can be turned on to emphasize bass around 100Hz up to +8dB. You can bypass the receiver's tone controls by selecting Source Direct for a purer sound that is closer to the original source recording.
Volume Limit: You can set the unit's maximum volume to 80, 85, 90, 95, or 100 (max). The volume cannot be increased above this setting. The unit's entire volume range is from 0 to 100.
Analog & Digital Audio Inputs: The Denon RCD-N10 is equipped with analog & digital audio inputs. There is one analog stereo RCA input and two optical (toslink) digital inputs. The digital inputs support 2ch PCM audio up to 24-bit/192kHz (not compatible with Dolby Digital or DTS). 3.5mm Headphone Jack: There is a 3.5mm headphone jack on the front-panel of the RCD-N10 network CD receiver allowing you to connect a set of headphones and listen to your music privately. When headphones are plugged in, audio will no longer be output from the unit's connected speakers. You can set the gain (High, Mid, Low) of the headphone amplifier in accordance with the impedance of your connected headphones.
