This is like the original OEM. I still have the original as I swap the radar detector between cars. I bought a cheaper clone from another retailer that lasted 18 months before it stopped sticking to the windshield (even after cleaning with rubbing alcohol). This suction cup sucks, but doesn't suck if you know what I mean. No more radar detector flying into the back seats upon heavy acceleration.
Pros: Holds firm. Sucks (to the windshield)
Cons: More expensive than alternatives, but you get what you pay for.
