MAXcam360c - Great Integrated Radar Detector & Dashcam Solution!

Running v1.6 Good: All-in-one integrated solution. Escort - please continue making this type of product long-term! Less space/cost/wiring vs purchasing separate radar/camera devices. EZ Mag, BlendMounts, and hardwiring takes 15 seconds to move unit between cars. Premium feel, exterior design is easy to get on/off the mount under a mirror. Intuitive controls; rotary dial/mute placement is great. Day/night recordings are very clear and can customize metrics on video footage. Bad: Volume - cannot get loud enough for my liking to SHOUT alerts (beeps/chirps) over wind buffeting/exhausts/etc. if you're a windows down/sports car person like previous Escorts. No RDD immunity or ability to turn detector power off independently & continue using the dashcam alone in states like VA where prohibited if traveling. Auto-Brightness doesn't work as well as older units mounted in the same location, and may not be bright enough to view in a convertible. Mic distorts and can't hear audio clearly between buffeting/other noises above 40 mph. SD only supports 128GB. No 4k, video stabilization, or separate camera angle adjustability depending on how you mount. Drive Smarter app needs lots of work. Overall: Happy so far with my upgrade/purchase. Hoping the above suggestions make it into future revisions. Many negative reviews are software related; not geared towards the physical device/camera performance.
