Overview: The CrimeStopper REVO 1.1 is an add-on RF remote kit designed to give Fortin EVO-ONE and EVO-ALL remote start systems longer range than most factory key fobs can offer, with a transmitter range of up to 1500 feet.
Remotes: The 2 included RF remotes feature a single button for activating the remote start module and can also shut the engine down, if pressed after the engine has been started with the remote start system.
Installation: The REVO 1.1 kit includes an RF transmitter antenna that gets mounted high in the vehicle's dash or console, helping increase the transmitting range. If installing the RF kit with an EVO-ONE or EVO-ALL module and a T-harness, the included antenna cable is designed to plug directly into the RF Port on the Fortin remote start module, providing power and ground for the RF kit. If not using a T-harness, the kit includes an intermediate harness for the antenna cable that includes bare-ended power and ground wires that will need to get spliced into the vehicle. A simple programming procedure allows the RF kit to learn the transmitting code from the remote start module.
