Get kickin'

Many award-winning sound-off competitors put their mid-woofers and tweeters in custom-built kick panel enclosures to get concert-quality stereo imaging. But why pay hundreds of dollars to an installer when you can do it yourself? Just mount your 6-1/2" component system in Q-Logic's Q-Forms kick panel enclosures, and your car speakers will deliver competition-quality imaging without the expensive price tag.

Q-Forms enclosures hold your speakers in an ideal position, angling them to maximize sound quality. Since the Q-Forms are located near your feet, the distance from your ears to each speaker becomes closer to equal, creating a superior soundstage. The driver's seat becomes the "sweet spot" for great stereo sound.

Note: The Q-Forms do not come with pre-cut holes, so you must cut holes in order to install your component speakers in the enclosures. Installing the Q-Forms panel enclosures in your vehicle may require relocation of the parking brake pedal or other vehicle parts. Please enter your vehicle information or call an Advisor at 1-888-955-6000 to find out if this model is compatible with your vehicle.

Great sound, possible modification required

Looks amazing, sounds even better. My drivers side form did not fit at all, it was bent in a way that when u put the top in the bottom would push out and vice versa. I have experience installing and know what I'm doing, there was nothing blocking it. Took some heating bending and cutting to get it in and it still is not perfect. Pretty disappointing but the sound they create at high volume made up for it, they really throw the sound around the cab.

Pros: Sound quality boost

Cons: Drivers side form did not fit properly

It's going to add some much needed depth to sound of my single cab truck. A durable product in comparison to overpaying for a custom fiberglass kit to be fabricated and requires a bit of delicacy due to its location. I can't wait to install it.

Where's the pressure clips, Q-Logic?

sirbOOm from Atlanta, GA on 2/25/2013

Verified employee purchase (What's this?)

The build quality of this is fine enough. I mean, they are stiff enough to get the job done and the color/texture match to my 2011 Silverado is not bad. But these don't have the pressure clips that the stock kick panel has. They actually expect me to drill a hole into the sheet metal of my truck with one single screw. This thing needs more than just a little screw to stay in since you have to literally shove it in to get it into place where it looks remotely like it's supposed to be there. If I hadn't already cut the whole in one of them for the speakers, I would just return these. But now I might as well install them.

Pros: Fits larger-sized 6.5" woofers (like the JBL MS-62C)

Cons: Questionable fit No way to use stock pressure clip holes

Installation Notes

Features

Product Overview: Q-Logic C-Series Q-Form custom kick panels are designed to hold a 2-way component speaker system consisting of a woofer up to 6-1/2" and a tweeter (up to 2" diameter). They are fabricated of durable ABS plastic, color matched to the factory interior colors, and replace the factory kick panels. The positioning and angle of the speakers provide optimum stereo imaging and staging.

No Grilles: Because no grilles are included with the Q-Forms, you must use the grilles supplied with the component system.

Note: One of the included installation guides states that two Q-grilles are included, but that is not the case.

Compatibility: These Q-Forms are designed to fit select 2007-2018 full size GM trucks. These kick panels match the factory Black interior trim.

Note: Please enter your vehicle information to verify compatibility.

Installation Notes

Installation Overview: You will need to cut out the mounting holes in the designated areas of the plastic Q-Forms. A roll of foam tape is provided for sealing the woofer in the kick panel. The tweeter can be flush or surface mounted. Giving exact mounting depths is not possible, since it will depend to some extent on the space available behind the factory kick panel. (Q-Logic advertises 4" minimum.)

Don't know the exact depth. I'm guessing a little over an inch

I'm not sure what you are asking. The back is open. . You should have plenty of room. I had a issues with my ct sound mid fitting (depth) but was able to make them work.

[ GREG  Jun 01, 2017 ]

[ DALTON E  Jun 01, 2017 ]
A
Yes I did.
[ DANIEL  May 31, 2017 ]
Q
Wouldn't these enclosures run the risk of your speakers getting wet if you have snow on the bottom of your shoes?
[ Brad M.  Sep 14, 2015 ]
2 answers
A
The panels keep the speakers off the floor a bit but yes you could get snow on them if you are not carefull.
[ Thomas  Aug 07, 2016 ]
A
That is a possibility. I opted to mount mids and tweeters in the doors. The wiring and cross overs worked out better as well.
