Fits, but inconvenient

I purchased these to install some extra speakers in my 2001 VW Golf GLS, and although they do technically fit, they take up a considerable amount of space. They stick out far enough that I had to bend my leg to reach my clutch pedal. I removed them, and they will not be going back in.
Pros: Fits. Easy install.
Cons: Occupies too much space in the footwell.
