Q-Logic enclosures take the guesswork out of box-building, so you can enjoy great bass without the time-consuming process of constructing your own enclosure. The QLT-1.0012SS truck style box accommodates one 12" subwoofer in a sturdy medium-density fiberboard housing, upholstered with durable gray carpet. The sealed box design is compact, and contributes to deep, tight bass.

Since basket design and bolt patterns vary with each subwoofer brand, Q-Logic's ingenious QXs seal rings allow you to customize the baffle openings for almost any woofers available. The box has nickel-plated, spring-post speaker terminals, and comes with speaker wire, polyester fiber stuffing, and a screw pack.

This box is designed to fit behind the front seats of many regular cab pickup trucks. Please measure the planned installation location to ensure fit.

Great looking box. Made well. Works great even for hatchback cars with a small trunk space. Depending on your size woofer, make sure to align the woofer correctly to the hole or some of the screws will miss the wood when screwing it in.

I have a 2008 Acura TL with some sound upgrades. I had a pretty big size single 12" ported encluosure and I wanted to get decent bass out of a smaller box without sacrificing my trunk space. It wasn't that hard finding my perfect box at crutchfiled. This is second time I used Q-Logic products and have never let me down. Great sounding bass and lots of spaces in my truck now

I do like the looks of my box. But installing my sub, I wasn't able to use the gasket provided and got one screw screwed in I missed the next. The hole just seemed a slight too big. After angling the screws in I was able to complete my sub installation.

It's a box. I gave it 5 stars because it was constructed very well, in the u.s. how rare. I also rated 5 because it cam with rubber liner for the sub opening, cotton wadding for fill and my new rockford 12" sub sounds great in it.

This was my first sealed box so i was a little skeptical at first, thinking that i would not get the deep bass that i wanted..but after talking to one of the sales advisors and telling him what i was looking for, he promised me that this box would deliver the boom that my truck was missing....IT delivers!!! loud and deep....I put a fosgate in it and it THUMPS....very well constructed and even comes with poly fill to stuff the box with....

Features

Compatibility: This enclosure is designed to work with a single 12" woofer. It is a Type 1 enclosure with an internal volume of 1.0 cu. ft., and is designed to be used only as a sealed enclosure.

Materials: The box is constructed of 5/8" MDF (medium-density fiberboard), which resists flexing and has anti-resonant qualities.

Design: For strength, Q-Logic uses a full dado groove on the front, back, top, and bottom panels. The side panels are glued, then locked into these grooves. The edges of the front, back, top and bottom are mitered joints, so there's 50% more surface area for the special glue that bonds them. The side and front panel are framed with a hard plastic frame. The side panels of the box are recessed 0.5" from the outer edges of the frame. The shape of the enclosure better utilizes space behind the seat of a pickup truck by allowing you to put the enclosure against the angled back of the seat and against the back of the cab. The enclosure is covered with durable gray carpet.

QXs-Ring: The QXs-Ring is a multi-diameter woofer mounting adapter which also seals the woofer into the enclosure. The QXs-Ring has a series of rings around the outside to help center the woofer, and hash marks to help align the woofer's mounting holes. If the mounting diameter of the woofer is 11-1/8" or less, the woofer can be installed without trimming the ring. For woofers with a larger mounting diameter, a portion of the QXs-Ring can be trimmed off, allowing for an extra 1/4" in woofer mounting diameter.

External "Top Hat": Mounted to the rear of the enclosure, the External Top Hat is an oval-shaped plastic insert which extends the woofer mounting depth by nearly 3/4", allowing more woofers to fit into the enclosure. The cutout for the insert is 7-1/2" wide and 6" high. The external panel is 9-3/8" x 7-5/8" (oval), but protrudes less than 1/4" from the back panel.

Spring Posts: The spring posts, located on the left side of the enclosure, will accept bare wire, pin connectors, banana plugs, and dual banana plugs. The enclosure is equipped with a 30" speaker wire for connecting the woofer to the inside terminals.

Brackets: Brackets (not included) are recommended for more secure mounting.
