About the MB Quart PK1-116
The best of MB Quart
The best of MB Quart
MB Quart's Premium Series car speakers provide the best possible sound from an audio industry mainstay. The MB Quart PK1-116 6-1/2" 2-way speakers use a paper/mica hybrid woofer cone for a natural-sounding midrange and impactful bass response. The 1" magnesium dome tweeters handle the highs with precision and power, while MB Quart's WideSphere™ technology expands the tweeter's dispersion pattern for a wider, more lively soundstage.
MB Quart makes wiring easy with stainless-steel push-and-insert connectors, and grilles are included if you're doing a custom installation.

Size Classification Note: Some manufacturers, including MB Quart, call this size speaker a 6½". Because it requires a larger cutout than a standard 6½" speaker, Crutchfield has traditionally referred to this size as a 6¾". Please enter your vehicle information to confirm fit.
Basket: The speakers feature PA66 composite (plastic) baskets, reinforced with 30% glass fiber.
Magnet Cover: The cover on the magnet can be removed to slightly decrease the depth (by 0.05") and the magnet diameter (by 0.33").
Tweeter Phase Lens: The phase lens can be removed from the front of the tweeter, narrowing its dispersion pattern. This is useful when the tweeter is pointed directly at the listener.
Terminals: The input terminals are spring posts that will accept up to 14 gauge bare wire.
