After reviewing many 5 1/4 " speakers on Crutchfield I settled on the MB Quart PS1-213 to replace the common low end speakers provided in my new teardrop camper. After getting one side replaced I compared the new and stock speakers. So many more highs that are crisp and clear. Moving the tweeter out of a speaker just opened up the sound produced and just made a huge difference between the MB vs stock. The base is better too and is crisp and a little lower. This speaker moves quite a bit at higher levels giving it that extra punch I was missing. I was interested in a few other speakers but they did not come with a grill which I needed. These are nice looking speakers too. After the installation was complete it was over an hour of listening to one song after another getting more impressed the longer I listened. The Crutchfield reviews and detailed specs on each product are very helpful and that helps me make the right choice I'll be happy with.

Great with aftermarket head

Just added new Sony head unit speakers are amazingly better than with factory unit clear tones great highs all the cymbals are crisp strum of the guitar clearly heard imaging of the stereo amazing now kick and toms are more prevalent

Not bad

Not much full range more mods and high gets muddy on factory system after half volume but clean up to that point will be adding aftermarket head to improve performance
