Customer Q&A

Can I connect My Camper TV to this unit so it will play thru the speakers ?
[ Michael  Apr 01, 2021 ]
3 answers
Yes, as long as your TV has HDMI output
[ Bill  Apr 02, 2021 ]
Yes use the ARC HDMI connector on TV or use one of the audio outs on TV to the unit. Note you may have to make adjustments in TV menus settings Refer to Manual
[ HEATH  Apr 01, 2021 ]
If your TV has an HDMI ARC then yes. Using an ARC-enabled HDMI connection to the TV, the audio from whatever is playing on the TV (such as a satellite broadcast or over-the-air television channel) can be routed to the unit's HDMI connection and allow the audio to play through the unit's speakers and/or preamp outputs. Press the MODE button on the MBQuart to switch to HDMI ARC. Ensure the HDMI cable on the TV is connected either to a port labeled "HDMI ARC" or that ARC is enabled in the TV settings menu.

Can I connect my Sirius unit to this radio?
[ Ron  Dec 19, 2020 ]
3 answers
If you have a Sirius receiver that has a 3mm output, then yes you could use a cable and go to the front AUX input jack. Or if your Sirius receiver has bluetooth you could probably pair it with this.
[ Bill  Dec 24, 2020 ]
It depends on what Sirius unit you have. This radio is not "SiriusXM Ready". I believe your only option for transmitting Sirius through this radio is the 3.5mm auxiliary jack or RCA inputs on the back.
[ DUSTIN  Dec 20, 2020 ]
No. Not unless there's an adapter or somehow through the auxiliary input.
[ Jim  Dec 19, 2020 ]
Blue ray, yes it no?
[ crash  Oct 24, 2020 ]
6 answers
No Blu Ray, only plays dvd and cd's.

We have not received any answers from other customers on your question. I would recommend reaching out to an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They should be able to help answer your question.

What video quality does it support as a DVD player?
[ John T  Aug 04, 2020 ]
3 answers
I believe what your asking is blu-ray? if so it supports that.
[ KRISTOPHER  Aug 12, 2020 ]
It will support 1080i.
[ Dennis  Aug 12, 2020 ]
does not support Blue Ray
[ joseph  Aug 12, 2020 ]
My current radio only has a black ground wire and a yellow +12 volt source, this unit has a +12 volt accessory (red wire), +12 volt remote / power antenna (blue) and the +12 volt constant (yellow), will this unit work with only the +12 volt yellow constant connected and not the red or blue?
[ Hugh  Jul 05, 2020 ]
2 answers
I had the same issue. Talking to an advisor, he recommended joining both +12V lines and going up 5 amps on the fuse. I did and it worked.
[ NEAL  Oct 24, 2020 ]
Hi Hugh. Please reach out to an Advisor via online chat or phone at 1-800-324-9695, for information regarding wiring to a constant power source, only.

will this fit a standard double din opening?
[ John  Jun 29, 2020 ]
4 answers
I"m not actually sure, this was in my Travel Trailer, I did have to modify but I don"t know if was standard when I started. Sorry I cant be anymore help than that.
[ JEFF  Jun 29, 2020 ]
the face of this is larger but the back of the unit is more like a single din in size
[ Mark  Jun 29, 2020 ]
yes and fits in a single din opening with the front half above the opening on the outside of the dash.half the double din would need to be blocked to give an area for the mounting screws to engage in.
[ joseph  Jun 29, 2020 ]
Appearance is deceiving, this radio head is only a single din.
[ JONATHAN  Jun 29, 2020 ]
I intend to use this in an "off-grid" RV which primarily functions on 12v Battery Power. When the unit is "Off" how much power is it consuming to keep the clock and other memory items present? Does this have an internal battery to save the presets if total battery power is lost?
[ Pat Taylor  Jun 23, 2020 ]
2 answers
It must have an internal battery cause it remembers my phone's BT pairing. But when you turn it off all face lights are turned off, no clock or anything unlike the Jensen it replaced so that'll save some battery power.
[ NEAL  Oct 24, 2020 ]
I've looked through all the information we have on it but cannot find any mention of its power consumption when powered off and recommend contacting MB Quart on 866-636-6299 to check if they have it. It does not have a battery to help save presets and other settings. I also see no mention of special memory that can store with when power is disconnected
[ Paul  Jul 12, 2020 ]  Staff
Since this is an out of Box item what is wrong with it is it cosmetic or are there actually missing components?
[ Keith  Jan 22, 2020 ]
1 answer
Scratch & dent are open-box items that have minor cosmetic damage. They may be missing non-essential accessories. In some cases the manufacturer's accessories have been replaced with generic equivalents. The manufacturer's warranty applies. You can get an idea about typical cosmetic damage here:

My camper currently has a Furrion DV3100 radio with Furrion speakers. Will the RVDVD2.0 work with the Furrion speakers that are used with the Furrion DV3100?
[ John  Oct 20, 2019 ]
2 answers
Yes, speakers are fairly genetic. The vast majority of them are 8 ohm and are compatible with 99% of replacement stereo units.
[ Dennis  Oct 29, 2019 ]
Yes. the hook up was pretty easy. i just used wire twist on caps and went wire for wire, hooked it up and everything worked great. the opening isn't the same so I had to make a custom template
