Didn't think I needed it, but I LIKE it.

At first, this was an "after-thought/impulse-buy", but I'm glad I added it to my home theater set-up. It bolts into any of the Sanus racks. I put it at the top to use those handy pull-out LEDs. I used up more than half the devices 10 rear outlets. I like the single front outlet which is ideal for plugging in my vacuum when I'm cleaning the dust off the top of the rack or on the adjacent piece of furniture on which the TV sits. Obviously, I like the filtering and surge protection. Most of all, I like the voltage/current/power use display. The price was ok and you can't beat Crutchfield's quick shipping and support.

Love the fact that it has 11 plugs but didn't think about it not having antenna protection which is needed when I ordered it. Would have been nice to have rubber feet to keep it from sliding when sitting it on a shelf, I don't have the rack mount on my stand and I'm pretty sure not everyone does.

high current ? about sanus strip

Bought to use for a/v theater receiver -TX-rz820 onkyo + monoprice monolith5 amp, and a svs- Sta-800d powered sub woofer . Didn't know if this would be enough for high current pieces, did chat with them and they let me know it would be ok for application was great 2 be able to ask them before having to possibly have to buy other unit. Great costumer service there! !!

I plan on returning it . The voltage meter is not accurate, I have 125VAC but not t showed 117 which sounds good but I verified it at 125, even a cheap Harbor Frieght $5 meter does better. And also the three status lights are annoying at night they are blurry ( not focused ) and bright, you can't turn them down or off that I know of

Great quality product. The pull out lights work great. I needed to ensure to put power supply at top of rack, since the lights only project down, left and right below parallel, which didn't make a difference to me.

Must have accessory to Sanus Rack

If you are buying a Sanus Rack this is a must have accessory! It tucks away in a single rack height unit and provides the necessary amount of outlets to power my entire rack of gear. I have McIntosh Amps and use a Sanus rack in my home theater. I love that this unit includes a user selectable meter that can display voltage, current draw and power draw in watts. In my case, I was worried about amperage draw given I have a 7 ch McIntosh Amp and 2 Outlaw Audio monoblock amps installed. The pull out lights are a nice touch but in my setup are just not needed.

I have always wanted a power conditioner, and this was perfect for the Sanus rack that I ordered at the same time. Good finish and fit. The light makes it look extra professional, although I don't use it much. I like the meter which tells me how much power I am using also. The only slight concern is the fact that the plus are all 3 prong and spaced together. This is a necessity and they could not have built it any other way with this sized box. But there are basically only 2 holes (one in the front and first one in the back) that will handle large adapter looking plugs, which a few of my accessories have. I know there isn't a better design for this...

My Bad

Received the Sanos CAPC01-BI power strip and conditioner. Very well made product. The lights are great to help illuminate your gear or just for some ambient lighting. The Volt meter is worth the price. I was shocked when I plugged it in to see just how bad my electrical power delivery system was. All in all a very good and well built product. Would recommend to anyone who does not want to spend $500 plus for a line conditioner.

Very well constructed, fits into rack system great - not a jungle of wires, extension cords etc. Voltage indicator looks cool as hell, too.
