The product is a great add on but mine doesn't shut off via the thermostat. I'm not sure if they will be able to replace mine because it may be a discontinued by Sanus item. I'm waiting for Crutchfield to advise me on the status.

Pros: Add lighting and fans to your Sanus Cabinet and if working correctly shut off automatically by thermostat. Easy installation.

Cons: Mine arrived but it doesn't shut off automatically and I don't know if Crutchfield will be able to get a replacement.

From the thermostatic control perspective

Rich from Wyano, PA on 4/12/2017

This supply has an abundant array of of outlets, but I purchased it primarily for fan power and thermostatic control. It is certainly well built. It doesn't offer manual thermostatic control, or at least not as far as I can tell. There is no exterior control for temperature threshold. I'm not sure if there is an interior trim pot (which would be somewhat a hassle). It specifies the thermostat turns on at 85* and off at 70* which I can safely say is not an accurate claim, unless my unit, or the probe, is defective. With my Sanus 2115 cabinet, the overall interior ambient temperature will get well over 85* (cabinet completely closed with the probe centrally located). A lot depends on the magnetic probe placement, which in reality is the only way to find the "sweet spot" for acceptable ambient temperature control. A bit fiddly, but acceptable work around.

Pros: Plenty of outlets in various plug configurations. Well built.

Cons: No way to manually adjust temperature to activate fan units. Need to work with temp probe to achieve this, which changes depending on what equipment is running. Some equipment runs hotter than others.

DC Power Supply

Bikeboy from Tennessee on 6/28/2013

This DC low-voltage power supply fits perfectly in Sanus component racks. It is thin, but has a large number of power outputs to support remote IR extenders, cooling fans, and amplified signal splitters. It also includes a thermostatic control for the cooling fan. It works very well. While I have not had in service very long, I am completely satisfied.

Pros: Lots of outlets; allows thermostatic control; slim profile

Cons: None
