About the Sanus LL11-B1

Ralph Graves
The ultra-thin Sanus LL11 mount holds your TV a scant 9/16" from the wall — just about as close as you can get. It's the ideal wall-mount for many of the latest ultra-thin TVs. Yet this durable heavy-gauge design is strong enough to keep your TV firmly in place. The LL11 can support a TV with a screen size of 40" to 85", and a weight of up to 150 lbs.

The mount's brackets can easily be shifted to the right or left, in case the wall studs are a little off-center. You can also make small adjustments after the mount is affixed to the wall to level it, or even change the height. And the handy ClickStand at the bottom of each vertical brace swings out to prop your mounted TV away from the wall, to make cable hookup a breeze — without removing the TV from the mount.

  • Mounting Hardware: The LL11-B1 comes with M4 (12mm, 30mm, 40mm lengths), M5 (12mm, 30mm, 40mm lengths), M6 (14mm, 40mm, 55mm lengths), and M8 (16mm, 45mm, 60mm lengths) bolts to mount the monitor brackets to your TV.
Note: Additional hardware may be required for your specific model of TV. For example; shorter or longer screws, thicker or slimmer washers or spacers. These additional accessories can often be found at your local hardware store.

Steel Construction: The bracket is constructed of heavy-gauge steel with a durable powder-coated black finish.

Super Slim Low-Profile Design: The Sanus VisionMount LL11-B1 Super Slim Low-Profile Wall TV Mount features an innovative design which emphasizes the sleek look of your ultra-thin LCD, plasma, or LED TV by placing it just 9/16" from the wall.

Post Installation Adjustments: ProSet post-installation height and leveling adjustments allow TV to be perfectly positioned after hanging. Once installed, your TV or wall-mounted furniture may not appear completely level with its surroundings. ProSet technology lets you make micro-adjustments to height and level after mounting to ensure perfect positioning. Lateral shift allows the TV to move left and right on the wall plate so it is placed exactly where you want it, even with off-center studs.

Quick-Release Tabs with ClickStand: Convenient quick-release tabs on both mounting brackets stay hidden, but easily pull down to unlock the TV from the wall plate for cable access. ClickStand technology holds the bottom of the TV away from the wall for easy cable access without removing the TV from the mount. The LL11-B1's ClickStand feature allows you to tilt the bottom of the TV outward (8-degrees/3.0625-inches) and hold it there, giving you easy access to the back panel for connecting cables. Once all the cables have been plugged in, you can release the ClickStand and securely lock the TV into position on the wall plate.

Dual Stud Installation: The wall plate must be mounted to wall studs or anchored to a solid concrete or concrete block wall using the supplied lag bolts. The slots in the wall plate can accommodate a variety of stud spacing, allowing you to easily mount the TV to wall studs that are 16" or 24" on center. Once the wall plate is anchored to the wall studs and the monitor brackets (with the TV attached) are hooked onto the wall plate, the TV can slide left or right, allowing you to center the TV on the wall. The following tools are recommended for mounting the LL11-B1.

  • Stud finder
  • Punch
  • Level
  • Phillips-head screwdriver
  • Electric drill
  • Drill bits: 3/16" (wood studs) and 5/16" (masonry)

Customer Q&A

Q
How do I lower the tv, once it is mounted?
jay  Mar 25, 2022
1 answer
A
You can't. The best you can do is to remove the TV from the wall and try to attach the brackets higher up if possible. If you want to be able to easily adjust the height of your TV, then this is not the correct mount for you.

Yes, I have a 72 inch OLED from LG that is mounted to it and sits nice and close to the wall. As I recall they have the usual plethora of nuts and bolts for all TV models.

Q
Will this mount work with a 77" LG C9 Oled tv?
lama5274  Jan 05, 2020

A
I'd say NOPE. I mounted my LG CX 77" on this mount. There are two problems. First, the tilt feature (for cable access) does not work with this TV. You can tilt it some, but the clips do no engage the wall. The TV is too big, and the top hits the wall before the bottom is tilted out far enough for the standoffs to engage. Also, there is no security in this position - you can accidentally lift your TV off the rack. Second, the power cord on the LG has a big lump in it a couple inches from where it enters the back of the TV. It is not long enough for that lump to sit below the TV, so with this LL11 slim-mount, the right side of the TV is pushed further from the wall than the left. The power cord lump is forced behind the TV, and holds it off the wall. Returning this mount.

I don't know, it fit my LG Oled Tv perfectly. But to be sure, I would ask a Crutchfield Product Specialist who can be sure.

A
I would think so. It works great with my LG 65" OLED TV

Q
will this work on the sony 85" tv? the Sanus website "mountfinder" says it will even though it's an 85" tv.
ben  Jun 17, 2019
1 answer
A
It will as long as the mounting holes on the back of the TV are not wider than the horizontal crossbar section. The vertical brackets mount to the back of the TV and then the TV is hung on the horizontal crossbar using the mounts installed on the TV. The TV can be moved horizontally anywhere along the crossbar. I have a 65 inch tv and I am sure the mounts on the 85 inch couldn't be wider than the crossbar. The only issue is the profile of the back of the TV. They include all types of screws and spacers to mount the brackets to the back of the TV, but I still had to go buy some that were slightly longer or shorter than all provided.

Q
Will this mount work on the Samsung Q6F 65" QLED?
brian  Nov 26, 2018

A
The kit comes with a lot of screw options for the back panel of a TV. I am sure there will be a sizing that will fit the Samsung. This mount will be VERY close to the wall so make sure you have planned for plug clearances. I ended up using a factory 90 degree coaxial plug to get a Vizio mounted correctly and to keep it from rubbing or pushing up against the wall.

I am really unsure. i have a Sony bravia 65' and it worked great

Q
can I mount Sanus LL 11-B1 be used on a metal stud wall with foam insulation behind the studs?
francis  May 22, 2014
4 answers
A
Hello Francis,I was told by the building contractor not to use the medal studs that are in the wall because they are too thin and will not hold the weight of a large tv. A solution is to use a stud finder ( bought at Home Depot, etc) and then drill holes between the medal studs. I used bolts called toggle bolts. They are about 3 inches long and the nut end has two medal wings that fold. The wings open up once the wing nuts are in the wall. The holes in the wall have to be large enough to allow the wings to goin. You must remember to put the bolts thru the holes in the wall mount before you put the wing nuts on the bolts. Once you have done all that, start to tighen the bolts and level the wall mount. I would suggest using at least four toggle bolt. DONE !!!!! Now about the insulation in the wall. If your tv cable outlet is close to the floor you will need a metal fish tape to get through the insulation. I believe that it takes a more experiencd person to do that type of work. I hope this information helps decide on installing a wall mount..... DJC

Very sturdy for your big screen TV. I recommended

I don't have much experience with metal studs. I installed by Sanus LL 11-B1 into wood studs but I assume that if you use proper sheet metal screws (not drywall screws), it should work. I'd use #10 or #12 sheet metal screws that penetrate the metal stud at least 1/2". Be sure to allow for the depth of the Sanus bracket and the drywall. I'd also suggest checking with Sanus to confirm. Good luck.
gary  May 22, 2014

I mounted my Sanus on typical drywall backed with wood studs. Not sure about metal studs? I am pleased with the Sanus mount because it holds our 50" Samsung very close to the wall.
