An easy way to hide streaming boxes behind your TV
Roku sticks and Apple TVs are convenient video streaming add-ons, but their connecting wires can cause major visual clutter by dangling down behind your TV. Sanus's SA-IWB9KIT is a great solution to this problem, offering a neat alcove to store streaming devices, network switches, and more behind your TV for a clean, organized look. The kit also comes with a separate junction box and dual electrical outlet for your TV and other gear, which you can install in one of the rectangular knock-out openings in the bottom of the recessed component box.
The in-wall box fits behind any wall-mounted TV, and its design lets Wi-Fi signals pass through without interference. It features knock-out openings for easy access into and out of the box and for keeping your power and A/V cables tidy and organized. A trimmable hook-and-loop strap lets you secure small devices inside, like an Apple TV or network switch.
Straightforward installation
Use the included cutout template to cut a hole in your drywall. the box slips inside it and gets held in place by drywall clips. Or if the location permits, you can use screws to attach the enclosure to a wall stud for extra security.
Note: For AC and cable outlets, installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.

Product Research
Features
Overview: The Sanus 9" TV Media In-wall Box with Power Supply Kit (SA-IWB9KIT) helps to conceal and organize your media devices, cables, and power inside the wall behind your wall-mounted TV. The box provides space to securely mount small components like streaming devices, like Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV. Round and rectangular knockouts let you manage signal cables behind your TV. This kit includes a metal single-gang junction box, duplex electrical outlet (dual plugs), and wall plate for installing power to your TV and other mounted devices. The Media In-wall Box comes with a trim ring and a removable cover for a finished look. The kit is covered by a 5-year warranty.
Mounting Plate: The media box comes with a universal mounting plate which provides 1.5" of elevation from the back of the box that can be used to run cables beneath the streaming device or network switch. The mounting plate, like the in-wall box, is made of ABS plastic, which is transparent to Wi-Fi signals. Dozens of slots are provided in the mounting plate for strapping your device using the provided hook-and-loop strap. The mounting plate uses four plastic grommets and plungers for attaching it to the media box.
Adding Power: Using one of the 2-1/4" x 3-3/4" rectangular knockouts, you can install the supplied single-gang junction box and duplex electrical outlet to the bottom of the media box.
Note: Wiring in-wall power supply cable to the junction box should be performed by a licensed electrician or an experienced DIY-er.
Signal Cables: Signal cables (HDMI, Optical, Cat5e/Cat 6, etc.) can be run through the wall, exiting through the TV Media In-wall Box. Optional rubber grommets are available for protecting your cables as they pass through the media box walls, and for preventing dust and moisture ingress.
Installation Overview: The 9" TV Media In-wall Box with Power Supply Kit requires a rectangular cutout of 14-3/8" x 9-3/8", and a minimum of 3-7/8" depth behind the drywall. A cutout template is included to mark the cutting lines on the drywall. The media box features top and bottom locking tabs to hold it tight against the back of the drywall. If installing the box against a stud, you can use wood screws (not included) through the slots in the side of the box.

Excellent way to get recessed power receptacles and have ample space for Ethernet, cable, Apple TV, Fire Stick and other cords. Too many times all the accessories pile up behind the TV building clutter and make it difficult to mount the TV flush to the wall.
