This in-wall box fits behind any wall-mounted TV, and its design lets Wi-Fi signals pass through without interference. It features knock-out openings for easy access into and out of the box and for keeping your power and A/V cables tidy and organized. A trimmable hook-and-loop strap lets you secure small devices inside, like an Apple TV or network switch.
Straightforward installation
Use the included cutout template to cut a hole in your drywall. the box slips inside it and gets held in place by drywall clips. Or if the location permits, you can use screws to attach the enclosure to a wall stud for extra security.
Note: For AC and cable outlets, installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.

In-Wall Media Box: The Sanus SA-IWB9-W1 in-wall box an ideal solution for concealing and organizing media devices, cables, wires, and power behind your wall-mounted flat-panel TV for a sleek, clean entertainment space. The media in-wall box's plastic construction won't interfere with your device's WiFi streaming, while integrated cable knockouts help to organize your cables and wires.
Media Device Capacity: The interior of the SA-IWB9-WA media box measures 14.125" (w) x 9.0625" (h) x 3.4375" (d), and can support up to 30 lbs. The Sanus media in-wall box will fit Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, network switches, and more. Integrated lacing tabs and a trimmable hook-and-loop strap allow you to secure your devices inside the recessed box. An elevated mounting plate is also included which adds a second layer of storage within the in-wall media box. The mounting plate adds 1.5" of elevation inside the box.
Cable & Power Management: The Sanus in-wall media box features integrated cable knockouts that help to organize and manage your audio/video and network cables, as well as power cables to your TV and mounted devices. The SA-IWB9-WA also includes two power outlet knockouts which allow the installation of up to two UL listed 120 VAC electrical outlet boxes (sold separately).
Mounting & Installation: The Sanus SA-IWB9-W1 media box will require a rectangular cutout in the wall and can be mounted horizontally or vertically to best fit your application. Four metal swivel mounting clamps will secure the box in the wall. The swivel clamps will accommodate 0.25" to 1.25" drywall and require 0.75" of clearance around the interior of the cutout. A trim-ring and cover is provided for a professional and clean looking installation.

Excellent design.. it fit nicely between the studs. Just make sure you buy a metal slim electrical box for ease of placing an outlet. I bought a 2" wide box.
