Soundbar Mount: The Sanus SASB1 soundbar mount seamlessly integrates your soundbar with your wall-mounted flat-panel TV. When used with a full-motion TV wall-mount bracket, the SASB1 soundbar mount allows your soundbar speaker to move with your TV for an optimal listening experience.

Soundbar Compatibility: The Sanus SASB1 works with a variety of soundbars that weigh up to 20 lbs. It mounts to the back or bottom of the soundbar using the speaker's threaded inserts or keyhole slots and the included mounting hardware. The soundbar mount comes with M4, M5, M6, and Key-Hole hardware; plus special brackets for bottom-mount installation. The threaded inserts or keyhole slots on the back or bottom of the soundbar must have a horizontal spacing of 6.625" to 35.5".
TV Compatibility: The SASB1 works with TV sizes ranging from 32" to 90", and is compatible with Sanus and other UL listed TV wall-mount brackets. Your TV's wall-mount bracket will need to be removed from the back of the TV and the SASB1 installs to the lower row of VESA wall-mount inserts on back of the TV. Your TV's wall-bracket then installs over the soundbar mount and to the back of your television. M4, M6, and M8 mounting hardware, as well as mounting spacers are provided for installation.

Post Install Adjustments: Post-install height adjustment creates an ideal fit between the soundbar and mounted TV. The included depth-adjustment allows the soundbar to be positioned flush with the bottom of the TV for a clean look and helps eliminate audio interference from upward-firing speakers.

Will this speaker mount work with a Sanus SMF421-B1 tv mount?

We do not have any way to guarantee the Sanus SASB1 for fit with all mounts, Margaret. That being said, this does look like it will work with your Sanus SMF421-B1. Since the Sanus SASB1 is 25" wide you would just want to make sure that your TV wider than 25" (horizontally) so you won't see the sides of the SASB1 bracket sticking out the side when mounted especially since your SMF421-B1 is full-motion. I hope this helps you decide!

Will this work with the Samsung HW-Q800B soundbar?

It appears as though the Samsung HW-Q800B has mount holes on the bottom for using a wall mount or bracket, Matthew. The Sanus SASB1 would not be a good choice sadly, instead use the Kanto SB200 Premium universal sound bar mount in the link below. Will this support the weight of the Sony HT A7000?

Yes that Sanus mount would support the weight of that Sony sound bar however it is incompatible with the bracket mounting style so we wouldn't suggest going with that particular model. Will this soundbar mount work with a Samsung 75" QN85BD TV, a Samsung HW-Q7CB soundbar, and a Mount-IT TV full motion extension wall mount?

This should be possible. The soundbar offers a mounting kit, which will work with this SASB1 The TV mount appears to use standard vertical brackets that mount directly to the TV, which is required for use with the SASB1. The TV itself is within an acceptable size range for the SASB1.

Is this mount add-on compatible with the Kanto FMX3 TV mount and the LG SN11RG soundbar? The soundbar is almost 16 pounds and one review said the SASB1 is kind of flimsy.

I have a 55" mounted using Hang Onn Extra wide full motion tv mount. Will I have to remove the tv from the wall/mount to add this soundbar mount?

I have this sound bar hanging off the mount our 85" TV is hanging from and they're independent of each other so you don't have to unmount TV to add the sound bar.

Yes, I am using this mount to support my YSP-2700. I did not use Yamaha's mounting plate, instead, I just used the bottom mount supports included with the SASB1 and the mounting holes in the bottom of the YSP-2700.

Scott, I ran into the same issue, you will need to locate and drill new holes in the soundbar mount, use the longer screws provide and everything works out perfectly!

I used it to mount a JBL center channel speaker. The 20 lb weight rating for the speaker is pushing it. Should be flexible enough to work with a Sonos, but I don't own their technology.

I'm sorry I can't answer this question exactly. I used it with a Denon HEOS soundbar. For what its worth, it works great with that sound bar suspended immediately under my TV. It was easy to install and we haven't had to touch it since.

Yes, I'm using it for exactly that. You need the attach the Soundbar wall mount to this mount. The small bolts needs are not included I just used a couple of 3/16" X 1" long bolts, nuts and washers. Easy

I don't see why not, since the vertical poles and cross bar look like they could be mounted upside down, but I mounted the bar below the TV. You might check the manual (on line).
