Dual Moving Magnet Stereo Cartridge: The VM520EB conical stylus cartridge is the entry-level 500 Series model in Audio-Technica's new VM cartridge line. Like all VM cartridges, the VM520EB is equipped with dual magnets that are positioned to match the left and right channels in the stereo record groove for outstanding channel separation and extended frequency response. The cartridge's 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical bonded stylus tracks the record groove with high accuracy for outstanding audio reproduction.

Have completed a full overhaul of my vintage Kenwood KD-4100 turntable. The only thing left to do is update the cartridge from its current AT-433E (low output and no proper stylus sources anymore). My AT vm520eb cartridge has been used on a traditional turntable (an AR vintage 1978 model) and worked really well. Of course the installation was done carefully with such small screws and wiring. In addition, it also work very well with a newer turntable that has the attachmen to the tone arm. But again, I had to attached it carefully before inserting the unit into tone arm of the newer turntable. I am not sure why the cartridge would not fit your turn table...unless the specs of the Fluance indicates otherwise.
