Great Value

A great value. A huge upgrade from the cartridge that came with my AT 120. Would buy this again, and if I didn't it would just be that I was interested in trying a higher model. For the money you can't go wrong. Easy install too.

I upgraded from the stock green technica head that was included with the Audio Technica 120. I was skeptical it would make a difference, but it definitely has. Eliminated the static pops and crackles for a much more enjoyable experience.

Big punch with little price

In the moderate priced genre, few can match the Audio Technica lineup. I picked this one to have a nice naked elliptical ...it sounds clear and true, and for the price, it can't be beat.

Pros: Price Brand reputation Stylus choices Very nice sound

Cons: Still a stepping stone to better cartridges

Good sound, very good value

Bought this cartridge to replace a failed old Shure cartridge in my friend's vintage Technics turntable. When she got the turntable back and played her favorite LP for the first time, she literally cried with joy over the improvement. I listened to it a bit before giving it back to her, and was very pleased with the detail and timbre of the sound. Good tracking, clean highs, no detectable inner-groove distortion. My only beef with it is that the front of the cartridge and stylus body is slightly rounded, which makes alignment a bit more difficult if you are using an aliginment protractor. Had to use the flat sides of the stylus body to square it up. Easy to mount and adjust with just 2 screws directly into the cartridge body, no nuts to mess with. Very good value for a nude stylus cartridge.

Pros: Clean sound, good tracking, good high and low extension. Easy to mount. Hardware and screwdriver included.

Cons: Front of cartridge is a bit rounded, so it can't be used to align the cartridge.
