You'll enjoy crisp, accurate sound, excellent picture quality, and entertainment capabilities that go far beyond most all-in-one systems.

The hallmark of Boston Acoustics' speakers is their strikingly pure, natural sound. With the Avidea 770 you get that same level of quality in a convenient, all-in-one system — proof positive that high-performance home theater can be easy. This elegantly styled system includes a control center with a built-in DVD player, six surround sound speakers, and a subwoofer, all designed for simple setup. You'll enjoy crisp, accurate sound, excellent picture quality, and entertainment capabilities that go far beyond most all-in-one systems.

It all starts with trouble-free setup. You can plug other video components (like a VCR or satellite receiver) into the 770's control center. Then, all you have to do is run a single video connection from there to your TV. You don't have to worry about using different kinds of video connections for different components — the system sorts it out for you. Plus, the subwoofer and speakers have color-coded speaker connectors for goof-proof hookup

The 770's top-notch build quality contributes to its great looks and performance. Each of its speaker cabinets is made of extruded aluminum, a vibration-resistant material which helps improve sound quality. The control center's aluminum front panel adds rigidity and gives it a solid, stylish feel.

Another standout feature is the system's universal LCD touchscreen remote control. After you've selected a source from its main menu screen, like "DVD" or "tuner," this intelligent remote automatically displays only the buttons you need for that source. As an added, user-friendly touch, its illumination automatically turns on when you pick it up, and turns off again after a user-set delay. Even in the dark, you'll have no problem finding the buttons you need quickly and easily.

This system can also bring great sound to other places in your home by sending simultaneous, independent audio to a separate room. This means that you can enjoy full surround sound from a DVD movie soundtrack, while a housemate listens to the game on FM radio upstairs. (You'll need a shelf system, receiver, or powered speakers in the second room.)

You can also use this feature with a pair of outdoor speakers. Laugh along to your favorite radio program while enjoying the sun on your patio. When it's over, change over to a CD, without having to go inside — the remote uses powerful RF (radio frequency) signals to control the 770 up to 66 feet away, even through walls. With these powerful, user-focused features, this system gives you convenience and flexibility you usually only find with separate components.

The Boston Sound™
All Boston Acoustics speakers have a consistent tonal quality that has come to be known as the Boston Sound. Boston designs all of its speakers to work together seamlessly, delivering natural, balanced sound from one end of the sonic spectrum to the other. Whether you're listening to music or movies, you'll hear a faithful reproduction of what the original artists intended.
