Bring dynamic sound outdoors with the Voyager 60 from Boston Acoustics. Drawing on over a decade of outdoor speaker expertise, Boston Acoustics has outfitted the rugged Voyager 60 with the latest in weatherproofing technology. And the drivers are specially designed for optimum performance in open-air environments. You'll experience rich sonic detail over a wide area. These impressive speakers will be a big hit at your next pool party or cookout.
To achieve its robust performance, each Voyager 60 features a 6-1/2" graphite injected woofer, allowing it to produce more resonant bass without bottoming out. The 1" soft dome tweeter is made of Kortec®, a multi-layered material exclusive to Boston's tweeters that allows them to deliver smooth, articulate highs without any unwanted resonance. The Voyager 60's tough polypropylene cabinet resists damage from moisture and ultraviolet light, and all the internal parts are sealed and gasketed. The Voyager 60 can even be used safely in marine environments.
Mounting the Voyager 60s is a cinch: the adjustable C-brackets let you aim the sound toward a desired listening area. The bracket is made from heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant aluminum for long-term durability. And the speaker's wedge-shaped cabinet allows for flexible placement, even in tight spaces like corners and under eaves.
Boston's Voyager Series was created as an all-purpose solution for indoor, outdoor, and marine speaker needs. The speakers are actually optimized for outdoor use, with the ability to project sound in a focused area.

Perfect fit to replace my aged Voyager 6's
Pros: Good sound, fits the mounts I already had. Good price
Cons: Apparently no longer in production
Great sound! Ihave several Boston Acoustics products in our home sound systems.
Pros:
Cons:
So happy to still be able to get these. This is my second pair. The first ones lasted over 20 years on my patio and were still playing well but did get dirty (white speakers) and sounded a little dull from years of use. A friend of mine noticed the improved sound of the new pair right away. Nice crisp highs and full tight bass. I mounted these outside but under a covered part of my patio. Get these speakers before it's to late..
Pros: Sound Durability
Cons:
Great sounding speakers at a reasonable price. Enjoying sitting around the fire pit even more now.
Pros:
Cons:
I purchased these for my sprinter as my rear speakers. I Driving them with a JBL- GTR-102 and they sound fantastic and get plenty loud fo the mobile party!
Pros:
Cons:
Very fine sound from a medium-sized outdoor speaker. They sound good with a wide range of music, from classical to hip-hop with a throbbing bass. Definitely recommended. Good value for the price.
Pros:
Cons:
Very durable and clear sounding speaker. I've had a pair of these hanging outside for about 6 years and so far no UV damage that I can tell. They are fully broken in by now of course and play beautifully even without a separate sub. I happen to have an outdoor sub, so the sound is fantastic. They benefit from a sub.
Pros: Clear sounding, durable case easy to adjust direction and attractive.
Cons: Not really a "con" but could use a separate subwoofer if you want to feel the music.

Overview: The Boston Acoustics Voyager 60s are indoor/outdoor/all-weather high-performance speakers that are specially voiced for open-air use. They have an adjustable bracket to allow you to mount them in a wide variety of locations. The Voyager 60s are sold in pairs.
Woofers: Each speaker is equipped with a 6-1/2" graphite-injected, copolymer woofer for solid, more resonant bass. The Deep Channel Design woofers use a deeply grooved pole plate that enables the voice coil to travel farther for greater output without bottoming out. The woofer uses a butyl rubber surround.
Tweeters: The Voyager 60s feature 1" Kortec soft dome tweeters. Kortec is a silky fabric saturated on the underside with a proprietary stiffening agent. Because the inside surface of the dome is ultra stiff, the tweeter tracks the signal with ease and produces an excellent transient attack. Simultaneously, the soft, self-dampening top layer eliminates unwanted resonance, so the sound is smooth and articulate.
Weatherproof: Drawing from over a decade of all-weather speaker expertise, Boston Acoustics built the Voyager series to minimize exposure of acoustic parts to weather and with materials proven to resist the elements. The cabinets are polypropylene and are resistant to impact and UV rays. The grilles and mounting brackets are made of aluminum, and the speaker connectors are gold-plated. All the drivers are manufactured from high-tech plastics, rubbers, and other materials that have been extensively tested for durability.
5-Way Binding Posts: The gold-plated 5-way binding posts will accept bare wire up to 12 gauge, pin connectors, spade connectors, banana plugs, or dual banana plugs.
Note: Two plastic caps in the ends of the binding posts will need to be removed before banana plugs can be used.
Mounting Brackets: The included heavy-duty aluminum C-brackets securely hold the speaker to most any surface while offering enormous placement flexibility. They allow you to rotate the speakers almost 90° each direction after they've been mounted, letting you direct the sound to different areas as needed. The speakers' wedge shape makes corner placement easy.
Note: If you remove the bracket, the 1/4"-20 threaded inserts for the bracket's knobs can be used with 3rd party mounting brackets.

Quality and Price was the reason I bought from Crutchfield. [ Jeff Apr 25, 2018 ]
size, acoustical quality for outdoor use, style [ chet Oct 30, 2018 ]
I've been buying Boston Acoustics since 1980 when I bought my first pair of A200 Boston Acoustics and they still sound great. [ Mickey Sep 15, 2018 ]
Good brand and the woofer is bigger than most in this price range, specs and reviews are good. [ Greg Aug 14, 2018 ]
With the appropriate supporting equipment yes. Just like any speaker can. ?? [ Phillip Jan 28, 2019 ]
Sorry, I don't have an I phone so can' t help you with your question. [ JOE Jan 26, 2019 ]
not without some sort of amplifier and playback such as HEOS [ RONALD Jan 26, 2019 ]
Yes, they would sound great with an Iphone and they are not amplified so you would also need an amp with Bluetooth. That is what i use and they sound fantastic on my porch- better than many friends living room setup. [ Greg Jan 25, 2019 ]
The speakers don't have Bluetooth or WiFi, so an iPhone can't be linked wirelessly. I doubt the audio amp in a phone has enough power to drive the speakers via the headphone output - I certainly wouldn't recommend trying that. [ Leonard Alan Jan 25, 2019 ]
