DO NOT BUY. The speaker holes are not large enough for the supplied speaker. Crutchfield Tech support advised that I trim. After trimming and installing speaker I find they hit the headlight dimmer switch. Poor engineering and retrosound has no weekend support. First issue I ve had with Crutchfield.

The first impression of these kick panel speakers in the image they look great, but once I received them it was clear they are very cheaply made. They do not fit very well in the kick panel, they didn't come with instructions and how to mount the speaker is still a complete mystery to me. They are not pre-drilled for the screws and they come with these clips that look like the screw goes into but getting them to stay in place while attempting to screw the speaker to the panel is a nightmare. I already cut them in a few places to get them to fit in the kick panel if I hadn't I would send them back. At this point I am leaning towards throwing them away they are not worth the time it's going to take to put them together. Definitely do not recommend these.
Pros: None thus far.
Cons: Expensive, not pre-drilled to mount the speakers, they do not fit well, no instructions for mounting the speakers.
