Is the motor waterproof? I plan on installing it in the front of my 67 mustang

There is no mention about the motor with this antenna having any specific level of waterproofing but it is made to install in the engine compartment of some vehicles including 1967 Mustangs. I do not expect moisture will hurt it but still recommend trying to keep it from being submerged.

I plan on mounting this antenna into the right rear portion of my 67 mustang fastback quarter panel. How big does the hole in my quarter panel need to be to mount this antenna? Thanks, Mike D.
