RetroSound Ford Antenna

I expected a flush finish when the antenna was retracted but the way the top most chrome bezel is machined, the antenna is recessed more than 1/4" below the top of the bezel making it look wrong and a place where water will sit when the car is washed or rained on. It doesn't look clean and this was with all pieces screwed together as far as they could go. Besides, the picture showed 2 short washers under the curved piece under the fender, but the kit did not have 2 washers (so I had to buy some 7/8" washers. It should have included what is pictured but instead it comes with 1 short and 1 washer too tall to even be usable (3x height). I don't have a performance report yet, only appearance which left me disappointed. I emailed Retrosound and received no reply on the washer problem.
