Quality product. Arrived on time and packaged properly. Easy to install. Gets rid of rattles and bad vibrations. Will definitely be using this on all my builds.

I have a '15 Jeep Cherokee and I replaced all six speakers in my vehicle with Rockford Fosgate which I found at Crutchfield. It sounded a lot better. I then started thinking that maybe more power would be a good idea and again, Crutchfield suggested an Alpine amplifier and that made it all sound even better. OK, then I started thinking about the speaker area surround and how the mounting positions were open inside the doors and dash. Yet again Crutchfield came through and that's when I decided to try the RetroSound mats. I did not realistically expect much of a difference, but I was wrong. I worked on the dash speakers first and then listened to the audio system and I could hear the difference, so I then applied the mats to the rear doors and again the sound was improved. Next I'll take care of the front door speakers and I have to say that the RetroSound matting was an excellent and worthwhile choice!
Pros: The thickness is just enough to apply almost anywhere Easy to work with and install Solid quality product

Exactly as advertised, I would not upgrade the stereo on a typical car without using a similar product.
Pros: Works fine, sticks well

It did exactly what I needed it to do, which was to quiet an annoying rattle coming from a rear 5.25 speaker in my toyota fj cruiser. The speaker is mounted to just the plastic panel. I applied the retrosound mat behind the plastic for a clean look. It is thick and has a nice deadening feel to it. The adhesive backing seems very high grade, it should stick to anything. I also cut a small strip and applied just below the speaker connectors then attached it to the wires and the base of the magnet. This will keep speakers wires connectors from coming loose. The retrosound mat is reasonably priced and will make speaker install sound better. crutchfield ordering and shipping as always was top notch.

I think this is more reasonably priced than similar sound deadening material I have seen.

Used it to cut down on the hollowness of my speakers in the rear doors of my Fit.
