Crutchfield has suburb customer service,which helped me choose the best option for my first installation. Which led me to these easily mounted speakers and enclosures. Installing went smooth except I think they could use a better wiring diagram, you know one for dumb plumbers as myself. But other than that I would buy again. Thanks for the great customer service

Crutchfield misled

Crutchfield prides itself on knowledge and customer service but fails here completely. I was misled in writing by their expert that this product would arrive pre assembled. It didn't. I do not have the tools or skills to assemble. I suggested to customer service that their experts do so for me but they wont, so I will have to pay an installer extra. Crutchfield now blames it on the manufacturers for whom they simply sell (it was not shipped from Crutchfield but directly from manufacturer). They have offered to refund upon my return of the product which i need putting me back at square one. Dont trust their advice these products require skilled assembly

Premium price for average quality and poor sound

1) The speakers: Sound quality is poor -- speakers are very light weight. The only plus is the speaker depth which makes surface mount application possible. 2) The enclosure: The surface mount panels are larger than they need to be for this size speaker, but this is the only off-the-shelf game in town.
Pros: Easy solution
Cons: Poor sound quality. Expensive for what you get.

Poor sound quality

The speakers sound horrible. The product did not come assembled - but this was stated in the details. No instructions on removing the grills on the speaker. I should have just bought the case without the speakers. I will be replacing the speakers at a later date.
