Got off to a bumpy start but finished strong! This item ships from RetroSound. It was determined by Retro Sound that I was shipped the wrong bolt kit for the display face I ordered. Crutchfield stepped in and sent me an entirely new radio, display face and knobs. They did not want to take the chance of sending out the wrong product again. The order showed up fast with the correct mounting hardware. A bit of a delay for my project but I will always come back to Crutchfield for their unparalleled customer service. The radio is great. Lots of options. Smart phone connectivity. BT, XM to name a few. Plenty of power for the dual voice coil in dash speaker. I added a under-seat powered sub to help with lows and I am very pleased with result.

Pros: Great product to fill a stock location with modern conveniences. Great mounting options with included brackets and mounting hardware.

Cons: I haven't found any yet but it's only been installed for 1 day. :)

A Perfect Upgrade

1965 Plymouth Belvedere

Works great, looks great, and is a perfect unit for my old Mopar. Crutchfield does not list my car, so in case you own a 1965 Plymouth Fury and are looking at this radio, I can assure you this radio fits perfectly. There are a lot of controls that the 4 dials have to do, so learning the menus and directions take a little time but it's not difficult. Also, make sure you have both the 12v constant and 12v switched circuits hooked up because the radio will not power on without both of them powered. Also, the picture does not show it, but the screen IS DIGITAL. The overlays that add the radio dial screen have to be purchased separately and when the radio is on the digital screen shines through it. It looks awesome when the car is parked though and appears like a factory Mopar radio with the overlay. Assembly is very easy. The buttons are kind of a pain to screw into the bracket for some reason, but it's not terrible. The infinimount control brackets make fitting very simple and versatile. I did have to pinch the ends of the shafts to get the outer knobs to fit tight but that's not a big deal. I'm very pleased with this radio and I'm very glad my old Plymouth could be brought into the 21st century and still look like 1965 (for the most part).

Pros: Fits without modification to radio bezel, very simple installation, has all the features you want from a modern car without looking like a modern unit, 2 USB ports for charging phones, very fast Bluetooth connection upon startup, XM radio ready

Cons: Menu navigation is difficult to learn, has a digital screen, knob shafts may need slight modification

Easy to install and looks like the factory radio. Instructions were a little vague so a little common sense is required. Good quality sound with easy to navigate functionality.

Pros: Easy operation

Cons: Cost

I just bought this radio to install in a 1966 Plymouth that I am restoring. I just got it in the car today. Spent some time getting it all ready before hand and it made the job much easier. I have my book out to see how to adjust it for best sound. It does sound very nice. I have no extra amp. Just what it comes with. I think it should be plenty for me. So glad someone put out a unit to fit these older cars and have all the new options. So far I give it 100%.
