Great idea, needs to be a bit stiffer

if you're buying one of RetroSound's speakers, chances are that you're going to have a nonstandard mount. Luckily, this kit can attach to the back of their speakers to help secure it. It comes with many holes to fit and lined up well in my late 60s A-body. I combined it with the R-410N to give me stereo sound from the single 4x10 that comes stock in the dash. My only complaint is that it needs to be a bit stiffer. I feel like the speaker is going to vibrate a little if the road isn't smooth. We'll see how it goes; I might end up ordering a second one to double it up.
Pros: Fits great for my application.
Cons: Needs to be a little stiffer to hold the speaker securely.

Didn't need it, because the speaker fit perfectly!
Pros: They gave me the kit just in case. That was great.
Cons: None. It's still in the bag.
