Nice sub for the money I'm using it in my f350 reg cab Pick up, behind the pass seat, not a lot of room so it works. I would say it is better than middle of the road.Uou will be happy with it won't blow you out of the truck just good base in a small cab.

Pros: Price and size

Cons: A little light on base but good for what it's supposed to do for its size it is as stated by Crutchfield ??

Gets the job done. Clean bass, I'm literally sitting right on it, good bass for an 8inch, kind of wish I had a 10inch woofer now, but I'm satisfied. Didn't quite fit in my little Tacoma, had to cut some metal and mount to cab. Would recommend for extremely limited space.

It has potential to be a better product

Pros: It was easy to install with a little up front preparation. Looks kinda cool.

Cons: No pre drilled holes, not type of installation kit such as screws. The plastic speaker cover did not completely cover speaker.

Features

Overview: This package includes one RetroSound R-TW84 8" subwoofer, the R-TWENCL sealed enclosure designed for that sub, and a protective grille.

Note: The sub is not factory mounted in the enclosure and mounting hardware is not included, so eight mounting screws must be purchased separately. (One option is item number 120HWP0001.)

Materials: The enclosure is built from 1/2" MDF (medium-density fiberboard), covered in charcoal colored carpet.

Internal Box Volume: The enclosure's internal volume is 0.312 cubic feet.

Terminals: The spring-post speaker terminals are mounted on the enclosure's side panel. They will accept bare wire up to 10 gauge, pin connectors, and single banana plugs. Inside the enclosure the terminals have an attached 15" length of speaker wire for connecting the subwoofer.

Brackets: Brackets for securing the enclosure to your vehicle are recommended.
