Speaker does not fit into a 1972 Standard Beetle

1972 Volkswagen Beetle
For me, this speaker is 0 stars because I cannot get it to fit into my 1972 VW Standard Beetle. In the 1972 Standard Beetle, all of the wiring, including the fuse box/relay is right behind where the dash speaker is supposed to go. It took me all day, moving and removing the wiring and fuse box, to get the speaker installed into the dash. But, I couldn't get the wiring and fuse box/relay back into place after I got this speaker installed. It looks like I need at least another inch or inch-and-a-half more space behind the speaker in order to put all of the wiring back in place (i.e., a shorter speaker and bracket). I think Crutchfield and Retro Manufacturing should stipulate that this speaker will not fit a 1972 Standard Beetle because of wiring issues.
Pros: Appears to be a very nice speaker.
Cons: Speaker does not fit into my 1972 Standard Beetle

This speaker fit the space and mounting bracket in the VW exactly. Easy to install, made well and worked better than original. At the price this is very good value.
