Multi-View Front Camera: The Axxera AHV900 is front-view camera that can be added to any aftermarket head unit that features a composite video input. The Axxera AHV900 offers four different front viewing angles. You can choose from Wide Angle, Zoom, Horizontal Split Screen (requires option rear-view camera), or Vertical Split Screen (requires optional rear-view camera).
Note: This multi-view camera is meant as a visual aid only; never solely rely on the camera when driving.
Wired Remote: The AHV900 front-view camera can be turned on and off using the included wired remote control (simply press the button). The wired remote is also used to select between the multi-viewing angles (simply press and hold the button for 2 seconds to change between viewing angles).
Auto On/Off: The front-view camera can also be set to turn on automatically when your vehicle reaches a certain speed, provided that you connect the Vehicle Speed Pulse wire. It will turn back off when your vehicle slows down and stops moving.
CCD Image Sensor + Wide View Lens: The Axxera AHV900 camera employs a 1/4" CCD image sensor with a resolution of 537 x 505 (271,185 total pixels) for a clear picture image. The image sensor also incorporates an electronic Auto Iris (1/60,1/50 - 1/100,000) and provides low-light visibility down to 0.1 lux for excellent visibility day or night. The Axxera AHV900 camera features a F=1.9 lens with a 212-degree wide viewing angle to help you see better in front of your vehicle.
Rugged Housing: The Axxera AHV900 utilizes a durable zinc die-cast housing with a nickel-plated back casing that block protects the rear-view camera from moisture.
Mounting Options: The Axxera AHV900 front-view camera comes with a surface-mount bracket and license plate bracket to mount the camera to the front of your vehicle. Make sure the camera's model number and serial number that are printed on the bottom of the camera are pointing downward when mounting the camera for proper video playback orientation (otherwise, the image will be upside down on your connected monitor).
Composite Video Output: The Axxera AHV900 front-view camera features a female composite video output which will connect to your aftermarket in-dash head unit's composite video input using a composite video cable (not included and sold separately - see Accessories Tab).
Optional Rear-View Camera: The AHV900 provides a rear-view camera input for an optional backup camera (such as the Axxera ARC600, sold separately). The rear-view camera input can be used with any backup camera which features a composite video connector. When properly connected to your vehicle's reverse lamp circuit or aftermarket stereo reverse wire, the rear-view camera will automatically turn on when your vehicle is put in reverse gear and switch back off when take out of reverse gear.
