Dual brings you a powerful, versatile amplifier at an affordable price. The XIA2460 amp delivers 100 watts of continuous power to two channels, or 300 watts into a single channel. Efficient power supplies offer quick response, while the die-cast aluminum heatsinks incorporated into the black casing keep the amp running cooler for extended life.
Add the XIA2460 to your aftermarket stereo with preamp connections, or hook up to your factory radio with the speaker-level inputs. Variable frequency filters send the right signals to your speakers to keep them from reaching for sounds they can't reproduce. A variable bass boost adds extra fullness to the low notes when you need it.

Die-cast Aluminum Heatsink: The Dual XIA2460 amplifier features a die-cast aluminum heatsink for effective heat dissipation.
Illuminite Circuit: The amplifier has a dedicated low current DC output designed to illuminate the lighting elements found in Dual XIN-series speakers. A 4-wire harness is included specifically for this purpose. The circuit is protected by a separate 2-amp fuse. Note: This DC output should not be used to connect to speaker terminals or other items.
Protection Circuits: This amp has three types of protection circuits: reverse polarity, speaker short circuit, and thermal protection. The LED on the left side of the amplifier will glow red to indicate that the amplifier has gone into protection. Under normal conditions, the LED glows green to indicate the amplifier is receiving power.
Built-In Crossover: This amplifier includes a built-in 40-400 Hz, continuously variable crossover. A 3-way switch allows you to configure the crossover for low-pass, high-pass, or full range operation.
Bass Boost: The amp is equipped with an adjustable 0dB to +12dB bass boost at 45 Hz.
Stereo/Bridged Simultaneous Operation: With an optional passive crossover, such as the PAC TM100 (item #127TM100), you can operate a pair of stereo speakers and a subwoofer from 2 channels. This configuration is also known as Tri-mode or Tri-way operation.
Set Screw Terminals: The power, ground, remote turn-on, and speaker output connections feature set-screw terminals that can accept up to 8-gauge bare wire. A 3mm Allen wrench is supplied to tighten/loosen the set screws.
