A feature rich great price point replacement radio.

    Pros: Modern look.

Cons: AM radio doesn't work well at all in areas where there are several local stations, most powerful bleeds through on every station, making listening extremely unpleasant.

If you're just listening to the radio, this fits the bill! Since CDs take up so much room and a thumb drive can hold an impressive amount of music, I no longer look for a CD player, but a USB port. Installation was straightforward, but make sure of your opening. Crutchfield tech is great in helping you decide. FM reception was poor at first, but locating a bad antenna connection under the hood remedied that. My only objection is that default display cannot be changed to the time, I usually know what I'm listening to, but would occasionally like to glance at the time. The blue display is pretty bright at night, and could be distracting.

Pros: inexpensive functional no extraneous bells and whistles

Cons: light does not dim with dash lights Clock display is not default

Easy install on a 1999 bmw z3. nice radio thus far. made my factory radio seem so ancient (which it was). I haven't used the remote or even messed around with it yet. The usb works great. Plays all my songs.

    Pros: great thus far.

Cons: as expected, it does stick out a little further than the factory.

I bought two of these to replace OE nonfunctioning units. While the units are nice and easy to use the FM radio reception is not very good. I have ordered an FM booster, but don't give that much hope. If you don't live in a large metro area this unit is not for you!

Pros: Nice looking. Easy to use.

Cons: Bad FM reception in rural areas.

This is our second faceplate to stop working. Volume knob is stuck, buttons stopped working. Even when it did work, the excessive lighting made having it on at night dangerous. And if the faceplate pops out (which happens easily) it loses memory. The USB seemed useful, but it can't handle the draw from a basic smartphone. Leaving one in causes it to stop working at all until the internal switch resets, which takes a while We're looking for a proper replacement. It would have cost less to pay for a good one the first time.

threw this deck in my old work truck.. what can I say other that its cheap, simple button layout and function, and it works fine on AUX or with a USB thumb drive loaded up. One thing I dont like is that it starts from the beginning with the thumb drive.. has no memory of where it left off. It does have a "random" function though which is nice with over 1000 tracks on USB

This unit works pretty well, it is bright, and I couldn't find it in reviews previously, but it has NO dimmer wire connect. My car has the wire but not the stereo. I also wish it would have fit better in the insert they sent that fit my car make/model. It took me some fanaggling to get it to go in and there's a gap between the head unit and the console which kills my OCD. But it works how it should usb and aux is an upgrade for me so i'll take it.

Pros: easy to use, settings are easy to figure out

I was on the fence between rating 4 and 5 stars, but decided on 5 because in the end, this Dual met my needs perfectly, and considering the low price, you just can't beat it. The only negative is that the OEM screws which attach the reused OEM side brackets/mounts to this Dual, did not readily screw into ANY of the four (correct) holes. And at first when I lightly tapped a tapered punch to enlarge these holes, the sides of the housing began to push inwards! They only need to be enlarged a slight amount, but w/o doing this, you will NOT be able to screw into the holes. So...the better way to accomplish this is to simply move the punch side-to-side, back-and-forth until the holes will accept threading of the screws. But other than this relatively minor "adjustment", I would definitely recommend this deck if like me, you only need the USB port (or SD card) to play music off a USB flash drive...Nice fit too!

Pros: Nice looking, works as advertised, fits well, priced great!

Cons: Only one - you may need to slightly enlarge the side mounting screw HOLES of the deck housing, to accommodate your factory screws.

For the money this radio is incredible. I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because it would be nice if the display dimmed with the dash lights instead of remaining at full brightness. I have only used it a few times so far but the quality doesn't seem to be far off from much more expensive radios I've purchased in the past

Pros: Extremely affordable. Works very nicely

I like how there's multiple source inputs for however I want to supply it music. I use the SD card behind the front panel so there's nothing sticking out the front. It actually holds more than the 1024 files (I've got 1092 and it shows them all) but make sure they're the only two file formats (MP3 or WMA). I ended up downloading a free file converter online to convert most of my songs from that stupid Apple format. What I don't like is it's BRIGHT unless you use the dimmer wire, which I have yet to wire. And it doesn't show the time when I'm on SD card input. The only way to see the clock when on SD input is by holding down the Disp button for a few seconds, then the time flashes like you can adjust it. Just press Disp again and it goes back to displaying the song name, folder, etc...

    Pros: Price, inputs,

Cons: Brightness, doesn't show time on SD input

I started the project at about 10 O'Clock A.M and finished at about 2 O'Clock P.M. I was very impressed with quality of the radio and loved the look, it was a solid radio for the price. The installation took quite a while because the radio was just a few millimeters wide for my dash. My dad and I did some grinding on the dash and on my Honda dash kit which Crutchfield gave me. I am giving the radio five stars because after a little bit of grinding and soldering wires the radio fit in perfectly, and it sounds great. I will also say that my USB port does not work but that isn't that big of a deal for me, I am just going to use my cigarette lighter as a charging port. Overall it was a little bit of work to get the radio in but I am very happy with the finished product.

Pros: Sounds Great Looks Good Works Easy to Navigate

Cons: Bit of a Pain to get in USB port doesn't work (for me) Radio stations are a little fuzzy

Great stereo. Didn't realize it had a CD player / bonus. ALWAYS PAY THE EXTRA AND HAVE THEM MAKE THE HARNESS / WORTH IT. I am using it for my beater car that the kids drive works great. I did have to grind down the original plastic opening to get the stereo in (about 1/8 of a inch.

Pros: Get the harness / extra 24 dollars

Cons: Had to (slightly) grind down original plastic opening.

It works great.. I needed to replace the radio in my older Ford truck and went online for something simple like it came with. Crutchfield just had me put in year and model and showed all that would fit. When I clicked, up came the correct face kit and harness to make it a seamless install. Very Happy.

This was my first install of a product from Crutchfield. I was a little hesitant to replace my radio because I'm a bit of a klutz when it comes to mechanical endeavors. However, Crutchfield came through with easy to follow step-by-step instructions and all the pieces required to install the radio in my 2005 PT Cruiser. After splicing in the electrical harness, it took only 30 minutes to have the radio up and running and looking like a factory install. Now, as for the radio itself, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. My first issue is that it's impossible to see the complete display because it is not angled up ( the radio sits low in the dash ) and the trim blocks part of the top. Also, the buttons are difficult to read for anyone over 30 and they're tiny to boot. Finally, AM reception is terrible. Stations I received with my factory radio are no longer coming in a strong as before. In retrospect, I should have purchased something of a higher quality and not focused on the cost. My recommendation is to spend a little more and buy something better.

    Pros: CHEAP

Cons: Display hard to read AM reception is poor Function buttons are unreadable and tiny

Good Unit But You Get What You Pay For

David from Norfolk, VA on 9/1/2018

    Verified customer (What's this?)
    Verified employee purchase (What's this?)

This is a good unit but you do get what you pay for. First, I wish the instructions from Crutchfield had been a little clearer. There were a few times during the installation where I had to take it on faith that it would work out and luckily it did. The unit has a good list of features and I love the remote. I usually buy JVC car stereo but money was tight and my sales guy made me a heck of a deal on the Dual but the JVC remotes absolutely blow. They have all of 4 buttons; volume up and down and station back and forward. Really?? The unit does not have a CD player and despite what some people may read no bluetooth but I mainly bought it for the USB flash drive input and it does not dissappoint! Clear, vibrant sound that goes on for days. The unit has a 3.5mm port for a cable to hard wire in a cell phone or IPod (who uses IPods anymore?) I haven't tested it because I don't need to but I am sure it works fine. Another feature but I don't see myself ever using it is the ability to use an SD card but you have to remove the faceplate to access the SD slot and with so many other options why?? The only area where this unit falls down is the tuner and for a unit in this price range costs have to be cut somewhere. When you are in the middle of the city the sound is fantastic but when you are out even a little away the quality drops off sharply and you get a lot of static and roaming. All in all good job Crutchfield.

Pros: Plenty of power, easy to set up and navigate, USB flash drive port, easy to read display, good sound (other than Tuner).

    Cons: Weak Tuner

For an inexpensive receiver, its performance exceeds expectations. Radio reception is as expected and the amplifier sound is clean with no noticeable distortion. The SD source is my on-board mp3 library and it works well but is a bit of a chore to switch folders. I haven't used the remote control while driving but am considering Velcro or some means to mount it to the console if it doesn't create a distraction. The remote would be a nice feature for rear seat passengers but my system is installed in a pickup. The front mounted USB input is a nice alternative to CDs; although, I haven't used it yet. I question the 240 Watt rating (120 Watts in my 2-speaker installation) but it's certainly loud enough and there are simple EQ features to suit individual preferences. I run it Flat and it sounds fine. Mounting was fairly easy but there were a few mechanical issues that someone installing the system should be capable of resolving without calling the support number. The mounting sleeve and keys, bezel and some hardware were not needed in my installation. The harness was easy enough to build using crimp connectors and the only question I had was regarding grounding. The note on the instructions about "the black wire" was a bit confusing but that was sufficient to ground the unit. It works fine but, in hindsight, I wish I had performed a continuity test from the black wire to the receiver chassis. I'm happy with the system - impressive and inexpensive.

Pros: Easy to install and looks nice, sounds good and the input source options are just right for my little truck.

Cons: Not all station presets work - the upper 2 buttons in each band overwrite with the factory preset. The control buttons are a bit too small for ease of use. It would be nice if the display could be toggled to full time clock and not just a few seconds of displayed time when requested.

PS I slipped a piece of heavy aquarium tube on the knob to adjust volume easier.

Very nice. It works well with the older rig. I suggest adding some kind of padding above and below, maybe even behind the unit to make sure it stays in place.

    Pros: Works well.

Cons: Needs additional padding or support to fit securely in such a large space.

Like many people say, they screen is too bright and does not adjust. However this review is influenced by price as well as function on function. It's solid. Sounds good and has the controls you need. The layout could be better and the features are lacking but for the money it'll work. I have only had it for a week now. Perhaps I'll feel differently if it breaks down too soon... lol!

Pros: cheap, has USB and SD, plenty of radio channel memory, picks up stations well, loud enough, good basic eq adjustments

Cons: cheap, remote fiddly, awkward to scan for radio stations, screen does not dim, buttons feel weird

Great sound out of this unit and easy to install. Order from Crutchfield arrived on time and well packaged. Took it to my local shop and was told I could complete the install on my own, which I did and saved money. Impressed with how easy the controls work and wireless connection to iphone is a huge plus.I would recommend this to others and also the extended warranty option. Overall very please with the purchase.

Overall not a bad receiver for the price, but a few design flaws on the unit force me to give it only 3 stars. First, the buttons are tiny and hard to read while you're trying to get used to the controls. Also they are sometimes very slow to respond (switching stations) which makes navigation slow and clunky. Next the volume knob is pretty low profile and it's very smooth, which doesn't give you much to grip on to. My final complaint is with the fact that, yes it does read from USB and SD, but it will only read up to 32 gb. On top of that, it will only go up to 1024 files. I had hopes to put my entire music library on a card and have it at my fingertips but no. This is partly my fault because i didnt read all the specs. Being my first time doing this, i didnt think to look for such a limitation. I didn't realize it until i was going through my music randomly and i noticed the number wasnt going over 1000. No complaints with Crutchfield though. Fine job with the sale and great user friendly installation. Like i said, not a bad budget unit if you are looking for something basic.

Pros: Easy to install Inexpensive Will read from SD, USB or Aux

Cons: Controls are poorly designed. Menu system is slow and clunky. USB/SD will only read up to 32gb and 1024 files...

It's a lot of radio for the price. Ditto what everyone else said about the lights and the clock though. AM and FM reception is great. It's got plenty of power for my needs. I really like the SD card capability. I put 1200 songs on a 16 gig card and there's room for a few hundred more. Who needs a cd player? Crutchfield's extras and instructions made installation pretty easy.

Really has blown my mind so far. Installed it in a 2004 Mustang and it works PERFECTLY. Paired it with some cheaper Pioneer speakers and a 12" Sony Sub and man this dude kicks butt! Love the SD card feature. Navigation is simple and easy between menus. I really wish it had a dimmer tho. The LED blue light is BLINDING when it is dark outside. If I could dim it even by 25 percent that would be great. That is really the only complaint. Everything supplied with it, mount, cables worked perfect. I used the little posi connectors recommended and they worked like a dream for everything. TIP: In my mustang the ground was supplied from the radio antenna. The unit would not power on without being first connected to the radio antenna. Freaked me out at first but after plugging it in the unit will power up.

Pros: SD and USB support AUX Support Easy Menu Navigation

Cons: BRIGHT AS HECK! No dimmer that I could find.

Great device for the price. Only drawback is navigating through a large array of mp3 files isn't easy if you have sub-directories. If all your media is kept linear (a single deep directory) then it's not a problem. Running through aux is fine to use your phone as media device!

    Pros: easy install, looks clean

Cons: not easy to navigate when you have hundreds of files on the sdcard

If you have an older car with an outdated stock speaker system, this is a great radio. I use this in my 1992 Honda Accord and it does it's job. There are many cons to operation that I outlined below, but for the price and how old the car is, I'm willing to put up with it.

Pros: Affordable with an aux port Good sound for basic speakers Radio as described, fit well

Cons: Tuning is cumbersome Display doesn't divert back to clock at any point Display incredibly bright at night (frequent night drivers look elsewhere) Presets are grouped by two so it is difficult to select the appropriate preset Eject button for entire unit is right above the Power button

This is a good unit for the price. It definitely sounds better than the stock headunit I replaced. The screen is easy to read in the daylight and the controls are well placed. I'd definitely recommend it for someone who is on a budget and isn't a huge audiophile. I personally only bought it because the stock headunit's CD player no longer worked and the only way to get my own music was to use an fm transmitter. Install was easy using the parts Crutchfield provides.

Pros: 1. Well placed controls 2. Clear to read screen in the daytime 3. Easy to program and find radio stations

Cons: 1. The clock only shows up if you press the display button. When using an SD card or USB, you have to either press the display button multiple times or hold it to get into time set mode(meaning you might accidently change the time) 2. The screen does not dim. It's not a major issue, but it would be nice to even just manually adjust the brightness at night. 3. Navigating folders on an SD card or USB stick is hard because it doesn't tell you folder names, just track number.

I am giving it a rating, including the installation process. The radio's sound performance is crispy clean! I am very impressed with all the tech support Crutchfield has not only offer, but provided. Thank you! The only problem I have was after reviewing and trying to install the radio, I still need to retain my old OEM radio behind the dashboard in order for my keyless entry to work properly. My intention is to upgrade my radio without the old radio? At this point, I need to return the item for the new radio setup is now interfering my keyless entry.

    Pros: Crispy clean/clear sound.

Cons: Bad AM Stations reception. Also, depending on your vehicle, it interfered with the Keyless Entry.

So i have had this radio in my truck for 2 months now and it still works great. The kit it came with made a clean flush fit in the dash to make it look like it is supposed to be there. The only problem I have with it is you cannot keep the time up permanently, so when I have my aux plugged in it just says aux input the whole time. I just with I could keep the time up all the time. Other than that it is a great price and I recommend it.

I have a limited edition 2000 Chevy Blazer with the Trail Blazer trim package, that came stock with a BOSE sound system which even after 18 years of use still sounds great, so I didn't need to get new speakers. I was using a cassette adapter to my phone and the cassette player in it died, so it was finally time to get a new unit. Asked around and many people referred me to Crutchfield, so I went on here and did my research. This unit had exactly what I needed. I didn't need a unit with bluetooth, just something simple with a 3.5mm audio jack. I don't really use the USB or SD card slot that much but they do in fact work just fine. When I first tried it out, my friend thought I just had a whole new sound system put into my truck, and I told him all I did was install the unit. I see alot of people on here complaining it doesn't have a CD player slot, but it clearly states this model doesn't have it, and I personally don't use CD's anymore, but there are plenty in their catalog that do. This is an excellent unit for people who don't need a ton of features. Installation was a piece of cake, the unit itself is easy to use and the audio clarity is amazing. For what it does you can't beat the price one of the best values on here.

Pros: - Ease of use - Excellent sound quality - Easy installation

Installation was easy, sound is good. My major complaint is that you can't set the clock to be the "always on" display. When you press display it shows the clock but then reverts back to FM, AM, aux input, etc. Pretty annoying and a major design flaw.

    Pros: Sound, ease of installation

    Cons: No permanent clock display

Okay, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but it is a great value. My old beat-up '93 Ford Ranger needed a radio, and I didn't want to spend more than the vehicle is worth. So, I went to Crutchfield to look for something cheap. I found the Dual XR4120 on sale and pulled the trigger. It came with the wiring connectors and the u-shaped tools to remove the old radio at no extra cost. I've worked on cars a lot, and installation was a breeze. The radio met my needs. I have an AM/FM radio that sounds pretty good, and it has a working clock (something my truck hasn't had in years). Oh, and it has both USB and AUX on the front in case you want to play something from another source. I still can't believe how good a deal this was.

I bought this receiver and it came with an install kit and wiring harness at no charge. I have never installed car audio before. Using only what was provided by Crutchfield, I was able to remove the old factory radio, wire the new receiver and install it. It took me about 2 hours. The result looks professional. I installed this in a 1989 Ford F150. This receiver is a vast improvement from my stock radio. For the price, you can't beat it anywhere! I highly recommend.

    Verified customer (What's this?)
    Verified employee purchase (What's this?)

Bought this for an old Miata with a tape deck. Really like the low price to get a better tuner, plus USB/SD/Aux options. The blue lights on it are very bright. I haven't driven it at night yet to see just how annoying it is but I'm betting it will be. I don't like that there isn't an option to keep the clock displayed. Sometimes time is important to know, more important that what station I'm tuned into or which song is playing. Install went well. Crutchfield instructions were great and all necessary harnesses and adapters included. I'm so glad I had the slide out unit in my Miata, and didn't have to get into taking panels off. The instructions correctly identified what I had and what to do. The tuner certainly seems to pull in more stations than my stock radio. I have a 32GB USB stub drive. It's very slow to initially read and to switch folders or tracks. Can't randomize by folder as it claims. Doesn't seem to read the track # tag as album order isn't always followed. When turning the car off/on, it starts at the beginning of a track, which may not work well with audiobooks with long tracks. The 8GB SD card is a lot quicker. I just put a bunch of singles on one card and it quickly switches among them. I may just use this and take out the USB drive. Haven't used the aux yet, but that might be a better option for listening to full albums. Sound quality is limited by my stock speakers but it seems better than

Pros: Good tuner. SD card works well. Great price.

Cons: No way to keep clock displayed. Bright blue light. USB slow and difficult to navigate.

Good basic stereo for modern times

    Verified employee purchase (What's this?)

Good basic car stereo. Even though it is among the lowest-price car stereos that Crutchfield offers, it is a solid, basic car stereo with modern capabilities. I bought this for my teenager's truck, and the fact is most kids these days don't even own music on physical media. So it doesn't make much sense to buy a stereo with a CD anymore. The AUX input is all my kid cares about, although she might get around to loading up a USB drive or SD card and installing that in the stereo. This basic unit lacks bluetooth, and I was concerned that she would regret not being able to connect her iPhone to the stereo this way (instead of the AUX cord), but she said that she didn't care about the bluetooth connection because it draws more power from her iPhone anyway. Fortunately for her, her 1988 Dodge Ramcharger has an ash tray just below the stereo that fits her iPhone nicely and so her AUX cord only needs to be 6 inches long. Works for her!

Pros: Does the job, has all the modern inputs except bluetooth.

Cons: Lacks bluetooth connection, but my daughter says "so what?"

For the money I knew not to expect much. All I needed was something with an aux jack,, but the SD card reader is what I've gotten the most use out of. Never bothered to use the remote so I can't say if it's quality of not. But the one complaint I do have is the light pollution from the faceplate. I literally carry an old microfiber towel with me in the truck to cover it at night. If I had known the faceplate wasn't dimmable I'd have bought another model/brand, but at the end of the day the receiver does what I need it to do.

    Pros: Inexpensive. Better than stock.

This head unit was installed in my car in June 2017. I will say, it was easy to install and I liked the features. Aside from that, I'm extremely disappointed. Within two months of having this in my car, the knob for the volume became impossible to turn. So then I started using the remote control. After using that for about a month, the plastic coating over the buttons came off, and it wouldn't work without plastic coating. So I taped it back on, but now the buttons stick like crazy. I could be driving down the road with the volume at 15, and out of nowhere, by itself, the volume will go up to 40. And because the buttons on the remote stick, I have a hard time turning it down and keeping the volume down. Long story short, this head unit is junk.

Pros: USB feature - awesome Also like that it'll display artist and song title.

    Cons: Cheaply made. Junk!

I am not impressed. I finally installed it two weeks ago and I have several problems with it. When I start the truck, it turns on automatically. The other problem is it does not remember the last track played on the USB stick. Another issue I thought of is the adapter plate almost completely covers the ash tray. And yes, the 'keep-alive' is connected. The wiring harness was incorrect. Had to make an alteration and tap the always on cigarette lighter.

    Pros: Small and simple.

Cons: Doesn't remember last audio track on USB. Turns on automatically when I start the truck. Adapter plate extends out too far. The wiring harness was incorrect. Had to make an alteration and tap the always-on cigarette lighter 12V source.

its just ok for a bare bones radio. what I dont like is that you cant dim the face plate, its very bright.. you can land a plane with this thing its so bright. the clock does not stay on so you have to hit the dsp button to see the time. should be the other way around like most radios with the time always showing. cumbersome seek/scan function. not the best reception at times compared to the unit it replaced. I only use it as a radio so cant comment on the rest of features such as playing media files. being generous with 3 stars, its cheap so that makes up for the shortcomings but if I had to do it over again, I would have spent 30 bucks more and got the pioneer which also has a cd player.

    Pros: cost

Cons: bright display with no dim feature. clock does not stay on cumbersom seek/scan and station preset

Decent stereo for the price. Had to send the original stereo back, as the red power wire fell out of the harness that came with the item. Not a big ordeal...I called customer service, they issued me a return label for the defective item. I received the new item in about two days, & sent the first one back in the original packaging. It's been close to a month so far with the new stereo installed, with no issues. Customer service at Crutchfield was great. I was having issues connecting the wiring, but the Service Tech I spoke to on the telephone ran me through everything until we got it wired up correctly, and working. I would give five stars, primarily for customer service, and three for the product, as I cannot say if the stereo will last.

Bought to put into my '95 K1500 since the factory CD player stopped working a long time ago. Just wanted something that would charge my phone and I could play music through via the USB port. Well unfortunately this does neither. Plug in my phone and it just says USB error and then kicks it over to the radio, doesn't even charge it. Guess I can use the aux port to play music but still really dissapointed, wish I spent another 20 bucks on a stereo that would've done what I wanted. Happy as always with Crutchfield though, having all the installation parts included is always awesome. Used to be free 2 day shipping last time I ordered about a year ago though, this time it took 5 days but was in no rush so not a big deal.

    Pros: Easy install, radio works

Cons: No USB charging No USB music playback with my phone Buttons are tiny Can't keep the clock on display

I accidentally found this site while researching replacement radio for my z32. I am glad that I did. I placed my 1st order. It came fast and everything fit and functioned perfectly. And my 2nd order is next because I own 2 z32 with bose system. All I can say is this is an excellent company to deal with. One stop shopping. Thank you.

The radio pretty much was what I expected based on reviews; cheap, small & very light. Hard to imagine it is better quality than the Hyundai unit I replaced but it has an aux input which was what daughter wanted. Blue light-annoying,not incapacitating. Buttons for receiver tuning & memory op.s are very small & it is difficult to know what you are pushing while driving. Biggest complaint, something I see no other mention of; the radio tuning is terrible (tuning up & down the band). There are > buttons but the way that they work is if you quickly push you move by one freq. unit, e.g., from 88.5 to 88.9. If you press & hold it 'seeks' running up or down the band & stopping at first strong signal. Continuing to hold the button down does nothing. So trying to get to a particular station is painful. Eg, getting from 88.5 to 100.3 takes a long time (if there are lots of local stations). The user manual describes the operation differently. It says that by holding down the > the tuner will display "Manual" & then quick presses move one at at time & holding down moves fast up/down. I called Crutchfield; they confirm that it should work per manual & that there must be something wrong with my unit. Offered overnight a new one. I was skeptical because my unit worked, just not as the manual described. Got the new one in and it operates the same way. Either the manual is wrong or there is new firmware and I've got an older model. Note : Crutchfield support is superb.

Pros: Perfect fit for my Hyundai 2005 Accent. Crutchfield supply harness adapter, bracket and no charge.

Cons: Cheap. Very hard to tune to a particular radio station frequency. Very small buttons and thin volume knob.

For someone installing their first aftermarket radio this one is excellent. It doesn't have Bluetooth but I didn't buy this radio to make calls with so it's doing its job well. Being able to tune only into local radio stations while traveling makes exploring the radio waves much easier. I also can preset my preferred stations, something I struggled to do with the factory radio. But if you find that the locals don't share the same taste in music as you, you can plug in an aux cord, USB, or SD card. I personally prefer the aux cord since I listen to music on spotify. Though be aware that if you charge your phone and use the aux cord at the same time you may get a low static sound. The sound is great as long as your music is of good sound quality. For the money it's a good radio. One thing I'd say one must take note of is the radio's brightness, especially at night. It can be quite intense and it appears there are no settings to control it. This last one is a quirk that may not bother everyone but if you want to view the time you have to press the display button and the time will only show for a few seconds.

Pros: Good sound USB port that is covered when not in use SD card port Aux cord port

Cons: You may get a static sound while using the aux cord and charging your device Radio illumination is a bit intense at night Checking the time can be annoying for some So far nothing else

Everything I expected. It's a very basic radio that allows me to have the aux input option. Installation was very easy and for the price I can't complain. Gives option to adjust sound like the bass, treble...etc. I strongly recommend placing the Loud option to ON.

Pros: It's cheap, it looks nice (I personally like blue), has sound control settings

Cons: Can't adjust the blue light but for it's price who cares

I will start with, "You get what you pay for" This is a good sounding system and easy to install. However it has a couple of frustrating quirks. First brightness, you cannot control the brightness, in my Focus, I have to cover the light. Next file limit for USB. max 1000 files. Read manual before buying. My unit has a broken SD slot, out of the box. Feels like the mechanically not right internally. I only care about Aux port, so not going to send back for warranty. Over all OK system for a beater.

Pros: Cheap Easy to install in Ford Focus, actually sounds better than stock radio.

Cons: No brightness control. Limited number of files recognized on USB.

For 44 dollars I was surprised at the sound quality in comparison to the radio in the vehicle. I had a millennial tell me before I started that I should just take the car to the geek squad and have them do it. Probably saved a few hundred dollars for a few hours work (included new speakers). The kit for my wife's old 99 beetle fit perfect and instructions were easy to follow. This is not a manufacturer's employee writing a review... a real person. Thanks and I rarely give reviews if things work out well.

Pros: Sounds Good and easy to install. Picked up all stations with no static

Cons: Had to grind a little plastic. Instructions mentioned it might happen

Perfect for the price. I purchased this unit for my tractor and didn't want to spend a lot. It has all the features I wanted, plus more. I wanted the radio for news and weather but also wanted to play all my music stored on flash drives and various mp3 players acquired over the years. This unit can also play music from your sd cards. This little unit is exactly what I wanted! The Tech-Line was wonderful and answered all my questions and the shipping was free and shipped within an hour of ordering! This is, by far, the best company I have ever ordered from.

Pros: Plays mp3, music stored on USB devices and on sd cards. Has a built in equalizer and even comes with a remote control.

    Cons: None found.
