For a clean dash installation

The female dual USB mount provides a flush-mount design for permanent installation — simply drill a hole into the spot where you'd like to connect your USB devices or replace an unused button panel in your dash, and snap in the end of the cable for a factory look. Beüler provides faceplates to match a variety of Honda, Nissan, Toyota, and Mitsubishi vehicles. Or, you can go with the universal faceplate that's also included for quick and easy USB access in your dash.

Features

Dual USB Extension Cable: The Beuler 3' dual USB extension cable (part # USBD-KIT) connects to the USB ports on the back of your in-dash head unit and provides a convenient connection for your USB enabled source devices

Notes:

  • This extension will support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on in-dash receivers that are equipped with a 1.5A USB port.
  • Only the USB port of the USBD-KIT that is plugged into the corresponding Apple CarPlay or Android Auto USB port of your receiver is supported.
  • This extension cable can even be used in conjunction with the included USB extension cable that came with your receiver.
  • It is not compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto receivers with USB ports rated lower than 1.5A.

Male & Female Connectors: The 3' dual USB extension cable features male and female USB connectors. There are two USB (type-A) connectors and two female USB (type-A) ports. The male USB connectors plug into your head unit's rear-panel USB ports, while your devices are plugged into the female USB jacks of the dualUSB extension cable.

Vehicle Specific Mounting Brackets: The Accele dual USB extension cable comes with vehicle specific mounting brackets. Vehicle specific mounting brackets are included for select Toyota (new & old), Honda, Nissan, and Mitsubishi vehicles. These vehicle specific mounting brackets simply replace an unused "dummy" plate in your dash.

Customer Q&A

Q
Crutchfield asked: Why did you buy this?
A
Wanted to be sure that the new Kenwood DNX696S has an exposed USB Port in the cabin, and that connects to one of the available ports on the console. This way looks more professional. [ RUI  Jun 23, 2020 ]
A
Want to add USB ports to the dash of my 2011 Prius. [ Christopher  May 23, 2020 ]

This should have been offered as an accessories for my head unit purchase. The head unit has dual USB ports so there is a need to have them accessible from the dash board. [ Jeff  Apr 13, 2020 ]

Used to replace 4Runner OEM USB/AUX port to connect with Kenwood headunit 2 USB cables [ Glenn  Mar 23, 2020 ]
A
Because it should be a direct replacement for my AUX only connector. The AUX connector is shaped the same and pulls out of the back of the console. This should be a very clean installation. [ Peter  Feb 28, 2020 ]

Q
if connected to a fast charger, will these facilitate fast charging? What is the Max Current in Amps and Volts? 2.4? 3.1A? 1.2A?

A
I'm not sure of the measured amperage, but it charges my iPad 2 from dead to full while watching a movie in about 3 hrs drive time. About like my best charger at home.

Q
Will this fit my 2012 Tundra's dash panel?

A
It is a universal kit. Several mount options. You can also do a custom fit by using a dremel tool and a file. You will have to make your own template. I used the Dremel tool to rough cut the opening about 1/8" small and the file to make an exact fit.
[ Wayne  May 17, 2020 ]
A
I'm not sure about the Tundra, but it fit my 2010 Corolla perfectly. Slid in right where the factory Aux Jack was.
[ Steven  May 17, 2020 ]

Yes , it's a universal kit with cover pieces to fit different auto makers . It works well and I'm happy with it

The adaptors that come with it should fit. If you can, pop out one of your blanks in your dash and compare with the adaptors. The adapter I needed for perfectly in my 06 taco.
[ Todd  Mar 24, 2020 ]
A
I don't know. It fit a 2017 Tacoma. It seems to be a standard Toyota fit for the long switches.
[ Doug S  Mar 24, 2020 ]
Q
Are these standard Rocker Switch size?

We have not received any answers from other customers on your question. I would recommend reaching out to an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They should be able to help answer your question.

It snapped right in the hole in my 2017 TRD OffRoad Tacoma. It has two USB leads that connected to the two on my KENWOOD deck. The stock usb connector will not mate with this dash plate.
[ Doug S  Feb 06, 2020 ]
A
There is one for a Toyota in there. Didn't fit my Jeep. Had to get a circular USB port and place it where a cigarette lighter used to be
[ Dave  Feb 06, 2020 ]
Q
Is this compatible with a 2017 Subaru Outback?
[ Dan  Jan 20, 2020 ]

A
I don't thinks so. I think there are only adapters for Toyota (new & old), Honda, Nissan, and Mitsubishi cars. It worked perfectly in my 2012 Toyota Prius Plug-In. BUT, it may be able to fit into one of your unused dashboard accessory slots. Perhaps one of the 5 adapters is a close-enough fit to be worthwhile.
[ Lee B  Jan 25, 2020 ]
A
I don't know. I purchased it for a Toyota Tacoma but it did not fit the factory cut out.
[ David  Jan 21, 2020 ]
A
Im unsure the kit comes with an array of adapters.
[ Shawn  Jan 20, 2020 ]

Hi Dan, I installed this in my 2018 Subaru BRZ. I know it shares a lot of its components with the Toyota 86 though, but it was plug-n-play with my aftermarket Kenwood head unit.
[ CHRISTIAN  Jan 20, 2020 ]
Q
Do either of these cables work with Apple CarPlay if plugged in a CarPlay compatible Kenwood head unit?
[ Lee B  Oct 16, 2019 ]
1 answer
A
As long as your receiver's USB port is 1.5A or higher, it will support Apple Carplay and Android Auto!
