    General Features

Monitor: The SD-902W receiver has a motorized 7" TFT Active Matrix, 16:9, touch-screen LCD display. The resolution of the display is 480 x 234.

Display Angle Adjustment: You can adjust the display's tilt angle (up/down) to one of 32 positions to optimize visibility.

AM/FM Tuner: The Valor SD-902W features a built-in AM/FM tuner with up to 30 station presets. There are 3 FM bands and 2 AM band which can hold 6 radio stations each. The preset stations can be entered manually or automatically. Once your preset stations are set you can easily scan through only your preset stations.

Audio Controls: The Audio Menu allows you to adjust the following:

    • Preset EQ: the EQ has four presets; Pop, Classical, Rock, and Off
    • Off: with the EQ off you can independently adjust bass, midrange, and treble from -7 to +7
      • Bass: the bass center frequency can be set to 60, 80, 100, or 120 Hz; the width (Q) options are 1.0, 1.25, 1.5, and 2.0
      • Midrange: the midrange center frequency can be set to 500, 1000, 1500, or 2500 Hz; the width (Q) options are 0.5, 0.75, 1.0, and 1.25
      • Treble: the treble center frequency can be set to 10, 12.5, 15, or 17.5 kHz
    • Subwoofer Adjustment: the subwoofer output level is adjustable from 0 to +7, the subwoofer crossover is adjustable; choose 80, 120, or 160 Hz or full range
    • Loudness: turn Loudness on/off

Dual Zone: RCA jacks on the rear panel (stereo audio and two composite video) allow adding second zone for a rear seat entertainment system. When listening to the radio in the front zone, any other source can be played in the rear; when listening to a source other than the radio in the front zone, the rear plays the same source as the front.

Remote Control: The unit comes with a 40-button wireless remote control with a numeric keypad for direct access of chapters, tracks, and preset stations.

    DVD/CD Features

Compatible Discs: The SD-902W supports DVD, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, CD, CD-R, and CD-RW discs. DVD-Video, VCD, CD-DA, MP3, WMA, JPEG, and AVI files can be played.

Video Lockout: For safety reasons, you cannot view a video source on the built-in monitor as long as the vehicle is in motion. In order to display video, the supplied pink wire must be hardwired into the vehicle's parking brake circuit, and the vehicle's parking brake must be engaged.

Control Screens: During DVD playback, you can engage certain operations simply by touching a specific area of the screen; touch anywhere in the bottom 2/3s of the screen to display the transport commands, touch the top right corner to display the numeric keypad, and touch the top left corner to display the source options.

Display Type: The unit's integrated monitor can be set to display a 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio image when watching a movie.

Fast Forward/Fast Reverse: When playing a DVD there are five fast-play speeds in both directions (2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, and 32x).

Zoom Mode: You can magnify (or shrink) the image to various zoom levels; 2x, 3x, 4x, 1/2x, 1/3x, and 1/4x. While the image is enlarged, you can pan the screen up, down, left, and right.
