With the first song, Focal's Access Series 100AC 4" speakers will make your old factory models fade into a distant memory. High-quality components in the built-in crossover ensure a seamless distribution of frequencies to the woofer and tweeter, for a totally natural sound. The DFS (dual fiberglass structure) woofer cone delivers precise mid-bass and midrange reproduction while offering full, articulated bass. Coupled with a butyl rubber surround, the cone's all-weather durability ensures performance even in the hottest, most humid environments without distortion or warping.
Innovation at work
Every Access coaxial speaker features inverted dome tweeter technology, a hallmark Focal innovation. Unlike a traditional raised dome tweeter, the aluminum inverted dome shape evenly disperses high frequencies, creating a very wide soundstage with fine resolution and exciting dynamics. Rotate the tweeters toward your listening position to further enhance the stereo imaging.

Features
Cone Material: The Dual Fiberglass Structure Membrane (DFS) is a light, rigid, woven glass fiber woofer cone. The butyl rubber surround is resistant to ultraviolet rays, temperature extremes, and humidity to add to the speaker's reliability and longevity.
Basket: The woofer features a fiberglass reinforced ABS basket.
Voice Coil: The voice coil is wound around a 1" diameter low-mass Kapton former, ensuring no coil deformation.
Inverted Dome Tweeter: The tweeter is an inverted aluminum dome, producing a broad sound stage. The tweeter is angled and rotates on its post, so it can be pointed toward the listener.

These speakers are setup on my rear deck and sound amazing being powered off my alpine cde-hd149bt. Crystal clear and crisp highs and amazing high mids. Focal really sets the bar with their access line.
