Focal B.A.M. Acoustic Insulation Kit: The Focal B.A.M. Acoustic Insulation Kit increases the sound quality of your car stereo dramatically by increasing the bass level inside your car and decreasing outside noise. The material called B.A.M. (Butyl Acoustic Mousse) has a spongy outer surface which absorbs the out-of-phase sound from the rear of speakers, forming the car doors into virtual anechoic chambers. It also calms road noise and wind noise thereby providing a lower ambient sound floor within the vehicle.

3 Materials-3 Functions: Focal B.A.M. is a sandwich panel made of a viscoelastic absorber with an Aluminum sheet and an acoustical foam. The viscoelastic absorber, made of butyl, will absorb the vibrations of your car door, the Aluminum will reinforce the Butyl efficiency by sandwich effect, and the Foam will provide acoustic treatment.

• Viscoelastic Complex: Self-adhesive, the butyl complex absorbs the vibrations of the surface with which it's in contact. It highly attenuates the outside noise that gets inside the car. Less noise means more music.
• Honeycombed Damping Material: Just like the acoustic foam inside a loudspeaker, the honeycombed damping material attenuates the speaker back wave and then increases the speaker performance.
• Aluminum Sheet: Essential component to the sandwich effect process to increase the performance of the viscoelastic complex.

Applications: Use the Focal B.A.M. Acoustic Insulation Kit to reinforce soundproofing of your car, truck, or SUV doors. Focal B.A.M. permits to increase the acoustic insulation of your vehicle's doors.

Installation: Focal B.A.M. has a self-adhesive backing for a simple installation. Simply stick down the Focal B.A.M. on the sheet metal of your door. Your door surface must be clean, dry, dust-free, and oil-free. During installation the minimum temperature recommended is 59° Fahrenheit.
