Great subwoofer for SQ needs very accurate. This sub wont be real boomy like a JL off the back you have to tweak it with box and eq other than that the box you choose will give it its sound. Ive done a .4 to a .7 cu.ft. The biggest the boomiest the smallest more accurate.

I bought one of these about a year ago. Put it in a .6 cubic foot 3/4 thick 1 1/2 inch thick front solid wood box (not MDF had the boards) it is driven by a JL 750HD, subsonic filter off, 315 hertz/12 slope. Beats rock and roll drums like nothing else, very punchy, Ozzy Osborne , iron man for instance. Borrowed my wife's W6 in a sealed MDF box for comparison, the W6 did not stay in my truck for more than a few hours. Focal wins the SQ hands down. Of coarse W6s are not designed for over 250 Hz. All depends on what you're looking for, great speaker, small footprint awesome sound, enough said...
Pros: SQ, response range, quality
Cons: With a focal? Really?
