2017 Toyota Tacoma
These speakers are unbelievably built. They're the cleanest and most dynamic speakers that I have ever owned. You can hear instruments that you never knew were in songs you've been listening to for years! Punchy and precise mid woofers! These speakers are phenomenal and I'm coming from Focal Flax which were very good in their own right. Highly recommend these

2020 Ford F-150 Lariat
My first Focal system was in a Jeep Wrangler and now I just installed the 165K's in a 2020 F150. Awesome sound at low volume and spectacular sound as you crank it up. If you love music it's worth the money

Expensive but they do sound great .red wire is negative, brown and red is the positive on tweeter.2020 Jeep Wrangler install very difficult (if it's the first time doing this)and you need to install new speaker boxes in knee panel,also the speaker screen on the knee panel needs to be addressed because not enough opening( holes in speaker screen sized for a 3" or 4" speaker) nothing to do with the speakers them selves,

Love these speakers

I put these in my 2014 SS Camaro convertible with an upgraded JBL amp and this is the BEST car stereo I have ever owned!! These speakers rock and stay clear at all volume levels! Tweeters can sometimes be too bright but for the first time ever hear so much in music I have been listening too for decades!
Pros: Clarity, sound quality at all volume levels,
Cons: Tweeters can be too bright on some songs, but I really only notice it 5% of the time

2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Absolute perfection! with the right tuning. These sound best with quality components, ie. quality RCA, quality amp, dedicated speaker wire. These are so loud and clear that I haven't gotten it above sound level 15 of 40 on my head unit yet. Head unit sound level 15 is already pushing decibel levels very high for keeping my hard top on the Jeep. I'm sure it'll like higher levels with the top off. Current config: . Alpine head unit . Alpine PDX F6 amp- 165w (rated) x 4 . Stinger RCA . dedicated speaker wire . Focal ES 165k front . Focal PS 165FX rear Don't under-power these, feed them what they need and they will perform flawlessly.
Pros: . extreme attention to detail & quality in build materials . balanced and crystal clear throughout the entire sound curve . absolutely no distortion at any volume level . "studio quality" really means studio quality. Hear the music the way the artist intended . notes & lyrics appear you will never have heard before on another speaker system . handles any type of music with extreme precision, there isn't a music genre that doesn't sound incredible with these

Incredible sound out of a 6 1/2 speaker can't wait until I install the rear set
