With Focal PC 165 SF 6-1/2" 2-way car speakers they've brought Slatefiber into the fold. You can also find Slatefiber cones in high-performance home speakers like their floor-standing Chora Series. Made from non-woven, recycled carbon fibers and manufactured in France, the lightweight Slatefiber cone offers exceptional rigidity and damping qualities to provide a dynamic yet balanced sound, especially in the midrange. Focal employs their famous inverted dome tweeter to distribute high frequencies in a wide pattern for the most natural soundstage possible.
Serious power-handling
If you want to make the most of Focal's groundbreaking design, we suggest powering them with up to 80 watts RMS of aftermarket power. Because of their impressive sensitivity, these speakers will do quite well with factory power too.

Woofer Surround: The butyl rubber surround is resistant to ultraviolet rays, temperature extremes, and humidity to add to the speaker's reliability and longevity.
Size Classification Note: Some manufacturers, including Focal, call this size speaker a 6½". Because it requires a larger cutout than a standard 6½" speaker, Crutchfield has traditionally referred to this size woofer as a 6¾". Please enter your vehicle information to confirm fit.
Inverted Dome Tweeter: The tweeter is an inverted aluminum dome, producing a broad sound stage. The tweeter has a Neodymium magnet to provide a powerful magnetic field for the voice coil, while still maintaining the tweeter's compact dimensions.
