I recently purchased these speakers to replace the stock door speakers in my 2018 Camaro SS 1SS Package with the non bose but amplified system. There is a ton of confusion regarding the size and specs of the speakers in this system. So much that even crutchfield even suggested the incorrect size. The stock front door speakers in my car were 6x9 size not 6.5 like crutfield suggested. Which if I were looking for a little bit more bass the larger driver on a 6x9 would have more mass and better low end. Aside from that error, the focal flax fe set that I purchased sounds pretty spectacular. It does lack some intensity at the lower extension of bass but for what it has off the factory amplifier they have a very good soundstage. Decent punch to the bass. The highs were everything the car was missing from both the mid woofer and stock tweeters. I would definitely recommend this speaker to anyone looking for a 6.75in component set. I do wish that crutchfield would have had accurate information about my vehicle. 2hich is 6x9 front door speakers and that the system is 4ohm. The stock driver had a 20w rms label on it. So I imagine that the factory deck provides this or less. If that is the case these speakers will sound incredible on their rated power.
Pros: Great sound stage Quality build materials
Cons: Inaccurate car speaker replacement suggestion.

Installed in 2015 4Runner with mids in the front doors and tweeters in the OEM dash location running off the OEM headunit. Unlike other Focals, the crossovers are small and have pre-wired leads which makes for a simpler install. Like with other Focals, highs are a bit bright and it works for me. Plan on installing a new Pioneer HU/JL amp to shape the sound and add some power. Added a full door Dynamat kit on the inner deerskin and interior adjacent to the door panel. Even with just the OEM headunit, the sound is night and day better than the OEM speakers...nice and bright, nice mid bass and now just needs a nice clean signal+amplification to really shine...these are beautiful!
Pros: Solid build, great tweets, nice mid bass, small crossovers
Cons: Pricey (expected), really needs some power to shine
